Very good monitor
Best monitor ive ever owned. Upgraded to this from my previous 144hz VA panel monitor which had a bad smearing problem. This monitor in comparison looks crystal clear when playing games. The colours are very nice too out the box and the 180hz refresh rate makes everything feel super smooth. Highly recommend this monitor.

So far so good!
I’m hesitant to write a review so early after purchase, but it’s been a positive experience so far. Like many customers at the moment, I feel like buying anything on Amazon is like playing the lottery, I’ve sent back pretty much all electrical devices, the last one being a Z-edge gaming monitor that arrived with backlight bleed. It’s at the point where I even expect defective items now. Not so with the LG – working perfectly straight out the box and is definitely worth the price imo. Using native resolution you get 180hz and the picture is nice and crisp. My set up; I have G-sync activated in NVIDIA control panel, as well having VSync set to ON (not Fast) – I always switch off Vsync option in games settings, and I have the adapt sync on the monitor switched off as I was experiencing ghosting and screen flicker in one game with it switched on. I would like to add I like how heavy and solid the base is, the monitor feels secure and can tilt angle. In case anyone is wondering it’s a matte screen (which I prefer).

Screen size and image quality is perfect, really good gaming monitor that’s 1080p with a high refresh rate.Also priced cheaper than most monitors with a high refresh rate.

Fantastic picture quality. Really easy to set up and attach either the included stand or a mounting bracket (not included). Has HDMI and DVI ports.

Extremely Low Brightness – Do not purchase for a well lit room!
While the specs and performance of the monitor is great value for money, there is a significant flaw which makes this a product to avoid.You only have 302 Nits with this monitor – Nits = Colour & Brightness.Due to the extremely low Nits, this monitor is unusable in a media capacity, in any room that has direct sunlight. If you enjoy watching movies or tv shows whilst doing other work and pieces, do not buy this monitor. At night it’s fine but the max brightness settings on the monitor, override windows settings so you cannot increase it. There’s a 10% increase when enabling HDR mode, but still not enough to enjoy a film without squinting or sitting forward.You will struggle to watch any tvshow/movie that has any elements of dark scenes or night time scenes.Pay an extra £20-£30 and buy a make/model with higher Nits.
