Imagine buying a car that you can never fuel. Welcome to the 3 x 4.5 paradox
This nifty, easy to use on the go printer is great fun. But you can’t buy paper for it in the UK.Anywhere.Nope.Nada.Ha ha you sucker.To make things worse it pairs the device with different size paper. I got stiffed with 2 x 3.I’m not sure why Lifeprint would release a device and then not allow you to use it – perhaps they hate us? Perhaps the zinc paper is highly poisonous and to avoid costly law suits they’re not selling it in the UK.Or perhaps someone just isn’t very good at their job.Unless you can guarantee a supply of 3 x 4.5 paper, then don’t touch this. When or if Lifeprint pull their finger out, I’ll adapt the review – until then I’ve got a disappointed 12 yr old who’s looking a useless lump of plastic she got for her birthday.*update*I did contact Lifeprint via Twitter to politely ask where I could obtain paper. They blocked me.

Perfect
Once itâs all setup from the app it works perfectly and very quickly. The quality is a bit vintage but itâs a cute little effect that I like. Iâve got the 3×4 one but Iâve also managed to make 2×3 paper work with it (you just have to adjust the picture and make it half the size and girly it to the right) and now I can have both large and small pictures. Plus the backing is stickable so another bonus i guess

itâs decent at the start
the colour when you first use it for a while is really good but after a while it starts to be more faint and sometimes it says itâs jammed when itâs not and that itâs empty when itâs not but itâs decent
