Steps:
-Power off the lights -wait for more than 5 seconds -Power on the lights -Say to the speaker “Alexa/Echo, find device”
(the speaker can add up to 4 lights at a time,repeat the above steps for those that are yet to be paired.).
For those lights failed with Method 1, please opt for Method 2.
●Method 2: Setup Alexa connection via BRmesh APP
Suitable for: 1. Those lights failed to pair with Alexa using Method 1.
2. Lights already connected to Alexa and need to be reset.

Beware Bluetooth tethered device
This is quite a bright light and under Alexa you can set 4 white colour temperatures or a range of preset colours. Also select brightness and on/off. Fair enough.However there is a restriction. The lamp is effectively tethered to the Alexa device that is used in the initial ‘find device’ process. If that device is off-line or out of range of the lamp you cannot control.Providing the host Alexa device is on-line you can control the lamp from any Alexa device or smartphone app.This is different to, say, most smart sockets that link by Wi-fi and are not tethered to any specific device. A subtle but important difference. Set up in the room where it is intended to be used.Some of the advanced features need the dedicated smartphone app.

So easy to set up!
It took all of 20 seconds to set up this light bulb, the others I have been using are so annoying as you have to change your internet from 5ghz to 2.5ghz, after doing this it can take up to 10mins – 30mins even longer.In future these are the bulbs I will buy from now on.

Work but do not stay registered/resposonsive with Alexa
These give off good constant light, flicker-free. Set-up (even with the app) was a littel bit of a faff as the lights struggled to connect to the app and required multiple attempts to set-up for each bulb ( I bought 8).Once setup, these respond to the BR Mesh App OK btu absolutely will not stay registered to Alexa; they constantly list as “unresponsive” on Alexa’s device list. Not ideal if you want to control from one app.Once these blow, I will replace with better branded wifi based bulbs (rather than Bluetooth, like these)
