Customers say
Customers find the webcam delivers excellent video quality at 1080p resolution and appreciate its sturdily built construction. Moreover, the camera works well with MS Teams and offers good value for its price. Additionally, customers find it easy to set up, particularly noting its plug-and-play compatibility with Linux. However, the lighting performance receives mixed feedback – while it handles basic lighting well, customers note it’s not as good in low light conditions.

Good!
Brought this as a present for my daughter. She says it is easy to install and the camera is ok for what she needs.

Small, does the job
It’s smaaaaalll. Which is greatâdon’t get deceived by the photos making it look large. Fits snugly on the top of my monitor. Bought it so that I don’t have to put video calls on my laptop screenâI can use my main screen and look at the person I’m speaking to.First one arrived with a focus depth issue, got a replacement which addressed it. Logitech support were very polite when I went to make sure it wasn’t me missing something (but I did the return through Amazon).Plug it in, off you go. Seems quite good at different light situations. What more is there to say?

Works well
This item works well with windows 11. No problems setting it up. The app is just an onscreen connection to the camera, settings are minimal. Camera works well for zoom and teams and microphones are effective.

Quality product worth paying extra for
Quality product, which you will sense within the first few seconds of holding it, which explains how popular and hard it is buy during the pandemic.Windows 10 recognise it within seconds inserting the USB cable, and works well with Zoom.Download the Logitech Capture software which allows to customise the camera operations even further, including manual zoom in and focus your liking and switching off the auto focus once you’ve adjusted it for your fixed position, unless you are Joe Wicks. Also like to thanks Amazon customer services who refunded me the difference as they dropped the price within 12 hours of ordering it.Btw, I can’t think of this camera being any different to c920 HD Pro, except it has a physical shutter, which is included as a small extra clipable piece of plastic.Strangely, both on Logitech site and Amazon c920s is a few quids less expensive than c920. However that works.Having bought a cheaper alternative earlier, can say this is definitely worth the extra money.

Can one ever go wrong with Logitech?
I bought a high spec mini PC to run with large-ish displays and a dual screen stand on my desk. As one has to spend a fortune for displays that come with integrated webcams, I simply opted for this product, as I’ve used the brand for years and know that both the hardware and software is reliable – a straight “plug and play”. I won’t go into any technical depth but, in a nutshell, if you know the brand and like the price, you really should go for it. The little “privacy shutter” has been annoying so far as I frequently forget to lift it up when I start my online meetings, but I believe it keeps the lens dust-free and, who knows, it might one day save you from an embarrassing moment.

Plug n play might be a stretch
My 6 year old Logitech C270 started doing the white picture thing yesterday. As camera reliability is very important for my work, and multiple flickings didn’t stop the white picture reappearing every few seconds, I decided to upgrade to the C920S. I’m assuming the S means that it is a C920 that comes with a privacy screen because there doesn’t appear to be any other difference between the two. While yes, the camera does work out of the box, I did have to go hunting online to find out where the actual camera software was hiding. Even when I chose my model from the various lists on the Logitech Downloads page, I was presented with 4 different apps to choose from with nary a clue about which one would do what I needed. Thankfully I had found a very informative and easy to read page which not only pointed me to the Download page but which then told me which app to choose – something the Logitech bot wasn’t even able to do.Anyhoo once the app was installed, I had to go into each of the different video conferencing tools I use day to day to adjust the zoom and placement for each. I have to say that this was infinitely easier than trying to place the old webcam had been – which eventually had to be wedged in place with blu-tack to stop it from wobbling every time I used my keyboard. I absolutely love the weighted clamp on the C920 which is pretty solid and means that I will be able to use the privacy screen without worrying about knocking the camera off centre – even if I move the camera from one end of the monitor to the other, the zoom settings in the Logi Tune app remain unchanged. So overall I love the ability to control the zoom, lighting etc via the app. I also love the privacy screen which I feel should be a feature on every webcam being sold today. Finally the weight of the clamp makes this webcam sturdy and holds it in place firmly. So far the only thing I really hate is that the thing arrives encased in plastic. The screen I expected; even the shiny clamp. But shrouding the textured back in film was absolutely not the right move as you will see from the picture. That shiny area is high-tack glue left behind by the film. Am I mean to dock a star for this? I don’t think so. It’s an unnecessary use of plastic, the tacky feel is highly ugggghhhh and I shouldn’t have to start working with a new piece of equipment by attacking it with something like Glue Gone.

Bra webbkamera med bra ljud och bild. Jag är jättenöjd med den. Lätt att sätta upp och få igång! Den duger helt klart för mina behov.
Ahmed Hisham –
Excellent picture quality, as expected and advertised. Audio quality is okay if you don’t have a dedicated mic or don’t want to use a headset. Clear enough for discussion.
