Great for Microsoft Teams, although it has been a little buggy
Picture and sound quality has been great for Microsoft Teams calls during work. From my video preview, the image quality is excellent, and not had any issues being heard in meetings. The camera itself feels really good quality, and has a good mounting solution so it fits on my monitor perfectly.The camera was a bit larger than I was expecting, but that’s my own fault! See the attached image as an indication, it’s sitting on a 32″ monitor. The cable is quite chunky, but has reasonable flex so was able to route it without too much issue.(Update: Teams hasn’t had any issues since end of November, so whatever was causing the problem has been fixed). Teams does not seem to like it sometimes, my voice can be distorted and “sounds like a robot”, but a switch to the internal MacBook microphone and then back again fixes it. It’s probably an MS Teams issue rather than the camera, but just noting anyway.

Fantastically versatile camera, needs some light for 1080@60fps.
Absolutely brilliant camera in a small form factor.The small form factor allows for a lot of versatility in setups, I personally have mine on a small tripod that is pushed quite close up to the key light I have. That setup just wouldn’t be possible with a Brio.LogiCapture isn’t a particularly good application, however the full 1080 signal is possible natively with nothing more than OBS and the Logi drivers for the camera, so it’s a case of install LogiCapture, and just never use it. A lot of the filters and settings in LogiCapture are also locked behind creating an account.The only thing that some users might have is if you run it wide open on 1080@60fps, then you *will* need some form of external lighting. Auto-exposure works great, but the low light compensation is a little aggressive, with the camera going high-ISO at a reasonably quick pace. An open curtain on a fairly overcast day on the subject is enough, but it’s something to consider. Don’t have an external light? Lower the frame size to 720p or lower, or lower the frame rate from 60 to 30.If you have even a half good setup, this camera really shines, has tight and easy integration with nearly all streaming software, and is flexible enough to fit in almost any or setup that you can possibly get it in to.
