Light bulbs
Second time I have purchased these bulbs I use them on a timer setting aa I am at work when it gets dark at this time of year for the dogs so they are sat in the dark until we get home. Took a little time to set up as Alexa had an update. The only bad part isn’t to do with the seller but the delivery where the delivery driver tried to fold and crush the package to fit through the letter box. Which was all caught on camera Instead of followng instructions for delivery.

UPDATE: By Feb 25 (less than six months later), both bulbs have failed. I use the lamp in a well known timer with app and have had no problems before now (new lamp with LED bulb), so I would assume that it is the bulbs.I have quite a few smart lights already so was pleased to be able to order these.In much the same vein as smart plugs, these bulbs can be controlled via various apps/Alexa/Siri whereas the plugs (if used for lighting) still just leave you with a an ordinary bulb. These give you the chance to create more mood lighting as it has a full colour range and is dimmable. Also, you can just use the ordinary plug that came with your lamp (or activate through your light switch if used in ceiling lights) and no smart hub is required.Smartplugs are great too for connecting lamps or other devices – so long gone are the days when prospective burglars know you are out as the landing light is left on!. These lamps do give the impression that someone is at home when lights can be put on randomly or at set times via apps and now that LEDs cost a fraction of the incandescent bulbs to run, they are much more cost effective. The Smart home app is quite comprehensive and schedules/groupings/Scenes are easy to set up, along with the initial set up.In the early days of LEDs, I found myself replacing lamps as they were too cold or not bright enough, but with these you can change to any option with ease on the app. Once set you can leave it. I have not tried the bluetooth option (which apparently is a good back up if the internet goes down), but I have found that the server is normally down due to a power cut!These are easy to set up with a booklet included and £15.99 for two at the time of writing this review, seem like reasonable value.

Small Edison Screw Fitting Smart Bulbs x 2
This is a pair of smart lightbulbs that both have the smaller Edison screw fitting.They come in a retail carton with a user manual in the smallest print I have ever seen!These do not need a hub to work and can easily be connected to Alexa (Or Google etc) via the Smart Life app.Then as long as the bulb is fitted within the area covered by your Wi-Fi you can turn it on and off with a voice command.You can also make it light in the colour of your choice to set the perfect mood!These would be perfect to be used in a pair of bedside lamps!You can even make them come on and off randomly if you are out to make your home look occupied!We have smart plugs all over the house now and use Alexa extensively when cooking or needing times set etc, these lights are a clever inexpensive way to create very different lighting mood areas.If I can set them up easily then anyone can do it!Happy to help!

Gute Funktionalität (Farben, Zeitsteuerung, etc.). Gab nur 1mal Probleme, als ich den WLAN Router neu booten musste. Die Glühbirne hat sich nicht wieder automatisch verbunden. Musste sie in SmartLife neu verbinden, ging aber mit 2 Klicks, musste nicht neu installiert werden. Daher 1 Stern Abzug.

J’ai testé ces 2 ampoules LED E14 connectées…Pour pouvoir les utiliser, il est nécessaire d’installer l’application “Smart Life” sur son smartphone ou tablette.Après avoir créé un compte… les ampoules peuvent être reconnues en WiFi (2,4Ghz).Ensuite on peut les utiliser dans l’application Smart Life…A partir de cette même application, on peut activer le contrôle des ampoules avec Alexa ou Google.Ces ampoules sont d’excellente qualité, en blanc ou en couleurs… Elles éclairent très bien.J’en ai mis une sur une lampe de chevet… (Alexa le sait bien !)Je suis satisfait de ces ampoules connectées.

– Nutzung der App nur möglich, wenn man sich einen Account erstellt und per Mail bestätigt – das nervt schon mal.- Ich wollte die Lampe eigentlich nur per Bluetooth ansteuern und nicht groÃartig in mein WLAN-Netz einbauen, das ist der App aber egal, sie will unbedingt WLAN für die Erst-Installation.- Obwohl mein Handy definitiv mit dem WLAN verbunden ist, merkt die App das nicht und will noch einmal mein WLAN Passwort(!!), das geht gar nicht.- Trotz erfolgreichem Login ins WLAN wird die Lampe nicht an Bluetooth gekoppelt, auch wenn sie als Bluetooth-Gerät erkannt wird. Fehlermeldung versucht die Schuld auf ein Routerproblem zu schieben.Nach mehreren Versuchen habe ich aufgegeben und den Artikel zurückgeschickt.
