I’m really pleased with these four really solidly made hat clips.Winter I live in waxed, rainproof bucket hats, and summer in all combinations of sun hats and canvas bucket hats to keep the sun off, so these hat clips are just brilliant for all the times I want to carry my hats without having to screw them up and stuff them in a bag.The clips are made up of a strong webbing strap with a metal clasp which has the nylon teeth that are pliable and soft enough in nature not to damage material, yet set in a way they firmly hold the hat as the metal flip lever closes solidly to lock the clasp in place.The triangular carabiner clip is made of a sturdy plastic and the spring is equally sturdy and secure; and I like the triangular design as it clips and hangs neatly onto rings and clasps.I do a lot of walking/hiking an these clips make carrying a hat so much easier, and more accessible ~ I can clip them to a backpack, but better still to the wrist loop of my walking poles, a belt loop, or a crossbody water bottle carrier, meaning I don’t have to keep taking my backpack off, or for those times out and all I’m carrying is a small crossbody/phone/water bottle bag.I will keep a couple of these clipped to my regular hiking pack and walking pole, and the others I will keep in handbag pockets so I know I’ll always be able to find one.These are brilliant in function, very well made, and I’d now like a set in other colour options, too.At time of order these are priced at £5.99 for the four, which I think is a worthy price as they’re so useful. 5*

I really try to protect my skin from the summer sun, so frequently wear a hat. But I donât always bring a bag to put it in if I want to take it off. Having a clip to help to carry it is very helpful. I already have two clips, a different style, that my husband and I both use. I use a hat clip not only for my hat, but I use them when i take my sweater or jacket off and hang it on my purse strap. If youâve ever done this, then you know how easily the jacket can slip off. Using a hat clip to secure the jacket can insure that it, too, isnât lost. Unfortunately I can âloanâ a clip to my husband, then he forgets where he puts it. It usually shows up about a year later. This is why we need extras!This package has four clips in four different colors: black, brown, white and gray. The metal parts are silver colored. One end has a triangular carabiner-style ring that can be attached to a belt loop or bag strap. The other end is a suspender-type clip that has nylon on both sides to prevent holes in the hatâs fabric. The clips on both ends are secured with a double row of stitching, which isnât the neatest appearance on back, but it is firmly attached.This package includes four clips for only $6.99, a really great price for four of these.
