Nice keyboard
This is a really good value-for-money wired MAC-compatible keyboard. All the keys have a light, responsive and quiet action. Most of the keys are in exactly the same place as my old genuine Apple A1048, although the Apple is a much heavier and better-made board. For the money you really cannot go wrong with the Macally. Maybe the “stuck-on” letter transfers will fail over time ? Who knows? But so far I am very happy with this board.

Very good value for the money
Much as I love the look of Apple keyboards, I’ve never found them particularly good to use. Might be down to me, because I never learned to touch type. Anyway, my keyboard met an unfortunate accident and while it was still just about usable, I needed a replacement in a hurry and I did not want a wireless keyboard.For the price this is excellent, although time will tell how well it bears up to frequent, albeit not heavy, use. It suits my style – if I dare call it that – of typing much better than the Apple did.I have two, minor, niggles: it is so light, I had to buy a mat to go under it to stop it sliding about on the desk, and there is no light on the CapsLock key. But at this price, those really are minor complaints.

Easy to use, ergonomic, very good
Very good keyboard, which we bought to replace the old Mac keyboard where years of use had destroyed 4 or 5 jays. It works! What else can I say, the Function keys are different so be careful the first week!

US keyboard
The keyboard is a US one, there is no pound (£) key – you have to press shift+3Otherwise, it is ok – a bit lightweight. The return key is smaller than on a UK board, which I’m having to adapt to.

Great keyboard for Mac OS, it even works on an old 10.4 machine, although I have not tested it fully. The most basic functions work on 10.4 and 10.5. Not keen on the smaller enter key, but I have got used to it now.

The keys are quiet, which I really like. The keyboard is not chunky like the mechanical ones, but not super flat like the Mac ones. All the keys function well with my MacBook Pro and there are no hard to press keys. The only downside of this keyboard is that when you are using the all caps, no light comes on to let you know that itâs in all caps mode or not. Aside from that, the keyboard is everything I was looking for.If you just need a keyboard that works and you type a lot, I would recommend this keyboard.

Teclado compatible con Mac mini, suena mucho las teclas, no prende el fico de indicador de tecla de mayúsculas. El cable usb muy largo por si esta lejos la mac. Por el precio me parece buena opción.

The white MacAlly version Is easier to read and shows large enough to read alpha numeric characters in dark gray but comma’s, periods, and “words” like “delete” and “shift” are quite small. I had to mark the “period” with a black sharpy to make it larger in order to distinguish it from very tiny “quotes” and other grammatical characters.Of course this is minor if one is trained on a querty board character placement by touch. But sometimes I forget where rarely used characters are placed.The keys are springy with a much better feel than the original keyboard that came with my 2010 Mac Mini which the space bar crapped out and turned my computer into a brick until I got this Macally replacement keyboard.Had no problems having my Mac OS recognize the new keyboard as long as I new my left from my right.I’m typing this review using the new keyboard on my MacMini. I was surprised how quickly the keyboard shipped and landed on my front porch. Almost as if it was delivered the same day.
