Easy too fit
Already have two, and the older one of a different kind needs replacing ,has I have had no problems with these am using them to replace ..easy to fit ,good detection range,many functions.

Initially a good quality light – will update after a few months – failed after 5 years
On the first view it seems very good quality for the price. I purchased the 10 watt version and it seems bright enough for an average garden where it will illuminate to around 5 meters or so. We have used this for a security light on the shed.It was super easy to install, mainly due to already having a light in the position so it was just a swap over job. The wire seems of good quality and enough length to get you a fair way in to where you need to wire it in to your supply.Where the wire goes into the light section its very well made and sealed against the elements.I would say the LED part of the unit is very well made but the sensor section will be the weak point of this.It will be interesting to see how water resistant this part will be to the elements. I have no doubt the metal case of the LED section will be fine but the motion sensor, being just plastic, might let water through. Time will tell.I have noticed that this motion sensor housing does get warm, so there are some components in there that might be drawing a lot of current, perhaps unnecessarily so, but perhaps this will be good to dry out the sensor part.Downsides are that you cannot adjust the sensor on the up and down axis, only side to side. So because we have our light on a shed I would have liked to have moved the sensor up a bit to point down the garden, rather than down at the floor somewhat as it currently stands.Left and right adjustment is no problem since the sensor has a pivot just for this movement.It is a shame you cannot adjust the sensitivity of detection like some models, I would have liked the light to come on when detected further away. My position only detects me about 3 meters from the light. As mentioned, this could be because the sensor is pointing down a lot rather than straight ahead.I would also like to have had an adjustment to come on at dusk/dawn, rather than just a night and day option.We have another security light which has these adjustments so with a bit of tinkering you can have it come on shortly before dark (or before light in the mornings) which is very helpful. The MEIKEE only seems to come on at night only or on night and day but why would you want it on during during the day?!I am not sure if there is a sensor to detect darkness, there has to be somewhere. I’ve not found it yet.It is nice to see MEIKEE are quite responsive to queries and support questions so should anything go wrong they should resolve any issues. This was part of the reason I went for this model.We are just coming in to Autumn so I will update this review after a few months to see how well it fairs through the winter.Edit: so it has been a couple of weeks and the light is still working perfectly. We have had a LOT of rain over the last two weeks and the light has taken a bit of a soaking, but despite some moisture being present in the sensor it still seems to work ok.The light section is still perfectly dry. Time will tell how that sensor holds up!Edit: it has been over 4 years now and this light is still in perfect working order! For the price, a bargain so I am just about to order another to replace our old B&Q light that has started to fail.Edit: it has failed after 5 years. Now it keeps on turning on regardless of there being nothing to detect. It will go off after the allotted time and then turn straight back on again. It is sad it has failed compared to our Wickes version which has lasted 10 or more but thankfully these MEIKEE lights are not too expensive so I have purchased the latest version of this unit.

Unreliable
I was happy to start with with the lamp providing a good standard of light for our alley way.However, It stopped working after only 4 months use. For an led lamp to break that quickly it is poor quality. I will have to pay more for a better quality lamp.

Failed within 36 hours
Easy install but cable is very short. PIR sensor is not adjustable. Worked first night then failed. Returned. I have two other lights from this brand and still going strong after a couple of years, so probably just unlucky maybe

Tenemos ya instalado un detector con una luz tenue en el pasillo para cuando se levantan los niños por la noche al baño y necesitábamos otro en el mismo baño que no hiciese necesario encender cualquiera de las luces que hay, todas ellas excesivamente potentes y ofensivas para esas salidas nocturnas que requieren no romper el estado de sueño. Que detectase a buena distancia al mas pequeño, se mantuviese temporizada un tiempo prudente y que no se encendiese con la luz natural que entra por la ventana durante el día.De fácil instalación con dos simples tornillos a la pared, en mi caso la he instalado cerca del techo para que enfoque la luz hacia él . Con las opciones de posicionamiento del sensor se puede apuntar a donde se desee; dicho sensor tiene un alcance muy bueno con un radio de 180º de 1 a 10 metros, amén de una sensibilidad regulable para calibrar según necesidades.También es regulable el tiempo de encendido con una gama muy amplia de tiempo de 6 segundos a 8 horas. Vamos, con todas las prestaciones necesarias para cumplir su cometido en infinidad de supuestos.Que sea IP65 aporta toda la seguridad para instalarlo en el baño.La luz que con un solo led emite es para mi caso excesiva, tema que he solucionado colocando sobre el foco (lo tengo enfocado al techo como he dicho) un trozo de pvc naranja que hace de filtro creando el ambiente naranja tenue (color de luz adecuado para no alterar el estado de somnolencia de los niños en esos momentos) . El led lo calienta algo pero sin el riesgo que pudiera tener una luz de filamento incandescente o incluso de las de bajo consumo, y como no es para un uso continuo, ese aspecto no ofrece ningún problema de seguridad.En cuanto al precio, no es un producto barato pero la relación calidad/servicio/precio es excelente según mi opinión. Totalmente aconsejable.

Facile a installer , le détecteur de mouvement fait bien son travail

Bastante útil para el precio que tiene, la única pega que le veo es que el sensor no puedo oscilarse en vertical independientemente del foco, de manera que si enfocas la luz hacia arriba el sensor también apuntará hacia arriba…Pd.- Si consigues regular el sensor, puedes hacer que tus mascotas no lo enciendan al pasar
