Doesnât work seamlessly with Alexa but can be done
I had to set up Routines in Alexa rather than being able just to ask for the light levels I like. But you can get very nice lighting through the Apple Home app, although that doesnât work with Alexa. Itâs a work in progress.

Love these bulbs, and how they are compatible with Apple Home. A good range of colours, and I rarely have issues when them responding to Siri.

Light up your home with a rainbow of colours
This bulb is easy to set up with the app. I’ve set a schedule on mine so it comes on and off at required times but can switch it on and off with the app or Alexa. The range of colours is excellent. Not sure on energy useage yet as only just started using it.

Awful Experience â Couldnât Connect Without HomeKit
I had a really frustrating experience with the Merross Light Bulb. The setup was a nightmare. I had to connect it to HomeKit first, but when that didnât work, I couldnât connect it to anything else. It seemed like the bulb was locked into HomeKit, and there was no way to bypass it or use it with any other platform without going through HomeKit first.This was a huge inconvenience and made the light bulb nearly impossible to use as I wanted. Overall, it was a disappointing purchase, and I wouldnât recommend it to anyone.1 star â Complete hassle to set up, and ultimately useless without HomeKit.

Worked on fast internet
Since I moved I needed one more lightbulb. Not easy to find when you switch to faster Internet.This was the 2nd bulb I tried and it worked.The app is a little confusing but I simply signed up and flicked the switch 3 times, scanned the QR code inside the box and had both it set up with meross and through my alexa app in under 5mins. It will connect at first to a slower internet or at least says it does. But, when it asks you for your Internet password make sure to change it to your Internet. Like I said less than 5mins and mine was done. I was dreading having to return another bulb.

Great product and super customer service
All our smart bulbs are Meross and theyâve been great over the years. It came time to swap out our Kitchen bulb with a newer version and setting these up and connecting to Alexa and Apple Home Hub is straightforward and super easy.This bulb did have a hardware problem about a month after being delivered (which was a first) but Meross agreed to swap it out straight away as it comes with a 2 year guarantee. Really happy with the customer service and product.
