Compatible with Apple HomeKit: The smart thermometer hygrometer from Meross is compatible with Apple HomeKit (iOS 13 or above), Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings. Just say, “Hey Siri, what is the temperature in the living room?”. Note: The temperature thermometer must be used with the Meross hub (package includes the Hub).
Solar Battery: This digital thermometer temperature sensor operates in a dual power mode. If the ambient brightness exceeds 150 lux (e.g., in office lighting), the WiFi thermometer is automatically powered via the ambient light collection field. In dark environments, the room thermometer is powered by the built-in battery.
Remote Monitoring and Notification: Using the Meross app, you can monitor room temperature and humidity from anywhere with internet access. Receive instant notifications via the Meross app when the temperature and humidity exceed your set thresholds.
Device Automation for Different Scenarios: When the temperature and humidity meter reaches your set value, you can activate other Meross devices, such as humidifiers, plugs, and switches. For instance, a smart plug with a connected fan will automatically turn on when the temperature exceeds 30°C.

Excellent thermometer
An excellent thermometer. Gives accurate readings. Can setup smart actions to turn on the heater of dehumidifier if the temperature or humidity goes outside of the range you set.Had it for 5 months running the battery still says 100% so not sure if that is correct but excellent if it is.It’s very easy to connect to the Internet and the app.It works with alexa and is easy to setup.Overall I’m happy with its performance and is a great price

Good device, easy to setup
Good unit, bought two of them in the end, pretty seamless setup and battery seems to keep it self charged with no issues. Nice to be able to read the range of temps over the last few months etc too.

Doesnât work!
Bought this 4 days ago, followed all instructions and installed successfully, however immediately sensor was not reading temperature or humidity. Uninstalled and reinstalled- still not reading temp/humidity. Contacted Meross support team the same day of receipt (4 days ago). Was asked for my device name and MAC address, which I felt uncomfortable giving (not being sure of this could be a security threat), however trusted company and gave it to them within a couple of hours of receiving their email. Havenât heard from them since 4 days ago and still have faulty device! I have several Meross devices which I am very pleased with so this faulty device and lack of customer service is a big disappointment, will think twice about buying from them in future after this experience! Waste of money! Have contacted Amazon support who are organising return of defective device and sending replacement. I will update accordingly

Very impressed with the Meross Customer Support.My temp/humidity sensor stopped working after a few months so I reached out for support. They replied quickly and after a few diagnostic steps offered to replace the unit without any fuss. Replacement working fine – happy customer!Would recommend these sensors, will buy again.

Excellent remote monitoring tool
I’ve got (had) a severe humidity issue (wooded area outside my window), and this has been great help in monitoring the situation, now rectified with a dehumidifier. Lets me track temperature and humidity in the room from anywhere.

It works, but itâs not elegant
The monitor works very well and is pretty accurate from what i can tell, however itâs not an elegant solution. A rather clumsy box that needs to be plugged into a usb port and left to dangle, and a rather fragile sensor that is stuck to the wall with a sticky pad and canât be repositioned.

No syncing or Connection issues – works perfectly for me , saving a lot on electriciy and having better night sleep , not having to get up sweaty at night having to switch off my space heater

Easy to setup
Not sure why others have had issues setting this up with HomeKit etc. It makes it very clear to use the app. You just follow the app in a few steps and it all works great, was up and running in few mins.Got this setup to monitor temperatures in an outdoor storage area with a tubular heater. Works perfectly and exactly what I need it for!

Bit of a disappointment when using Apple Home. First needs this separate hub to be in usb power all the time. After some time also stopped showing but cam back online when hub was updated. Little bit unsure also how close the hub needs to be with the actua device. Also unclear does the device work if does not get direct sunlight.For Apple Home users I would maybe search something else due to reliability.

Utilisateur de la solution HomeKit, je cherchais depuis longtemps un produit bon marche pouvant sâinterfacer avec le système dâApple. Câest le cas avec le système de Meross.Même si la contrainte de devoir avoir un hub Meross pour utiliser ces capteurs thermomètres est à la fois décevant et peu pratique car nécessite un endroit où le brancher et le positionner, et chaque marque étant tenté dâavoir son propre hub pour interconnecter ses produits, ça peut rapidement devenir un casse tête à gérer.Cependant, les capteurs et lâensemble fonctionne bien, la configuration avec lâapp Meross se fait de manière simple et fluide, lâajout dâautres capteurs aussi et lâajout sur HomeKit également. Une fois fait, vous accédez donc aux données du capteur (température et hygrométrie) depuis vos appareils Apple (iPhone par exemple mais aussi HomePod via commande vocale pour interroger sur la température dans une pièce par exemple)Très pratique et plus fiable que le Eve weather qui met régulièrement du temps à répondre quand il nâest pas simplement trop lent.à surveiller, ils sont munis dâune cellule solaire pour se recharger. Pour le moment les capteurs sont en place depuis seulement 2 mois et pas de soucis jusque la. En espérant quâils feront mieux que le Ãve weather sur ce point aussi ce dernier dévorant les piles boutons à raison dâune tous les 4-5 mois.Je recommande en tout cas, surtout si vous êtes intéressés par plusieurs produits Meross nécessitant le hub, pour justifier lâutilisation de ce dernier.
