Great smart watch for kids
I have to say, for the price, I’m really impressed by this watch. It does most of the stuff you’d get from a Fitbit Versa or Apple Watch for 1/10 the price.My 8-y-o son is delighted with this. He wanted a watch with a heart rate monitor, but this has that and all of the exercise, steps, calorie burn etc. functionality you’d expect of a much fancier smart watch. Is it as accurate? Impossible to say (and probably not due to no GPS built in), but it doesn’t really matter, he loves monitoring his progress, setting himself goals, and that’s what matters.It comes with a handful of watch faces built in, but with the app there’s a massive amount of faces you can choose from, both digital and analogue-style, with and without other metrics shown on the main screen.It seems pretty easy to use, my son worked it all out for himself pretty quickly just by fiddling and exploring, so no need to pore through the instruction leaflet (which is pretty short, clearly auto-translated but still easily read).Does the battery last the 5/7 days claimed? We’ll see. Is it durable? Again, we’ll see, he’s only had it 24 hours so far. But it is apparently waterproof, which is a definite improvement on the Tikkers watch/activity monitor his brother drowned in the bath last month…Only a couple of down sides:- It doesn’t make any sound, so the alarm is vibrate only. The vibrate seems strong enough, but it would be nice to have the option of sound too.- Alarms have to be set up using the App. Once set up, they can be turned on/off on the watch, but it seems odd that you cannot create a new alarm directly on the watch.- There are a number of features where the watch can control a linked ‘phone: music control, camera control, Find My Phone. Since my son is too young to have his own ‘phone, I’ve linked it to mine, but now he can control my ‘phone when he’s within Bluetooth range. It would be good to be able to turn off these features via the App! At least you CAN turn off notifications, so he doesn’t get buzzed every time I get a WhatsApp.- I don’t believe the Sleep results, for last night it claimed he didn’t get to sleep until 11:40pm, about 3 hours after he was definitely already asleep (I checked!). But it’s only been one night so far, so it may get better.

Great quality at a great price!
My son wanted a watch for his 8th birthday – and something that would count his steps. I was reluctant to pay too much given he’s a kid and kids tend to be a little careless at times. The thought of paying £100+ for a watch which could easily get damaged whilst he’s playing did not appeal!So, we took a punt on this watch. Was £36.99 at time of purchase and available at present for £31.99. He’s absolutely delighted with it and wears it all the time (except school) – even in bed to monitor his sleeping; which seems to have inspired him to go to sleep sooner! I’m not entirely sure the sleep function is accurate (1hr 30mins deep sleep during 11 hours of sleep?!), but he’s not for caring – he just loves having a watch and telling us his daily step count.Charge lasts 5 days or so (compared to my rather more expensive iWatch which requires daily charging!), so it’s ideal for its use. How long it will last, I don’t know, but so far, so good. If we get a year or so out of it, I’ll be pleased.

Daughter loves it but sleep is very inaccurate
I got this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves the watch and being able to add pictures to the front is great. However it is very inaccurate on sleep, most days saying she falls asleep at 01.00 exactly. I know this isn’t true as she’s 9years old and I check on her before I go to bed. This was a feature I was keen to use to monitor how well she was sleeping but with this inaccuracy, plus the fact you just get a star system on sleep quality, I’m quite disappointed with a key feature.We don’t use the smart functions as she doesn’t have a phone so can’t comment on them

My 8 y.o. loves his watch and the choice of faces it offers. He has been wearing it for a month now with no issue.His is not connected to a phone, though.I think it is a smart looking watch for this price that I would happily wear.

Bought this for my son specifically for the stopwatch function, which description says it has and instruction says it has but it definitely doesn’t. There is a workaround that it can be started on the phone app via the workout mode but he has no phone. Nuisance

Was okay for a couple of months now faulty and past 30 day return period
9 year old daughter spent her pocket money on this. Was good to begin with, however after a couple of months it is now faulty only working intermittently. Daughter has stopped wearing it. Past 30 days return period and not eligible for repair. Basically money down the drain. Advise to spend a bit more on a reputable brand direct if possible. Thatâs what we will do now as we feel bad our daughter has wasted her hard earned pocket money!

My 10 year old son was wanting a smart watch bad. This watch is perfect for kiddos without a phone of their own. It tracks their sleep well, his steps and exercise. He uses it to set reminder alarms to notify him of things, and he loves to check the weather on it as well. I believe it has some little games on it too but unsure. The app is easy to use. We do have to refresh it every day or two as the app is on my phone so not near his watch often, but it takes a matter of seconds and he’s good to go for a couple days. The battery life is always amazing, it hardly dies and can charge to full in no time at all.

I bought this just to be a watch that has reminders for my child. I really like it. You don’t have to have any of the app-connected notifications turned on. It’s fully functional away from the phone/app. You only need the app to set up reminders and if you want to keep track of daily activity levels (individual workouts, heart rate at the moment, sleep tracking, and daily steps are on the watch without the app).If you turn off the Bluetooth on your phone, it disconnects from the phone, but reconnects easily if you turn the Bluetooth and the app on (this is a good way to find the watch if your child misplaced it).I didn’t buy it for fitness tracking, but those functions work okay. It’s not super accurate, but it will give a good general idea about activity levels. For example, during a week of a science based summer camp, there was much less activity than during a week of a sports based summer camp, and the times of day for more or less activity were accurate, though the actual steps probably weren’t and the heartrate seems to record each half hour only. I found the sleep tracker to be pretty accurate.The reminders are only icons, and limited ones. I do wish I could add text to those, but the icon reminder has worked well, so it’s fine.The privacy and security policies are quite good and very clear about what is required for functionality vs what is optional. Most things are optional (as they should be).I would recommend this watch if you need subtle (buzz only) reminders for your child or yourself. It’s comfortable and seems durable so far. If you want an accurate, real time fitness tracker for workouts and sleep tracking, this may not be the one.
