Compatible with Fire TV cube
Excellent product – plug and play.
I bought a similar product with a separate OTG cable and had to return it as simply did not work with the Fire TV cube. This device however, worked perfectly and doesn’t require a separate OTG – it works immediately with both the ethernet connection and 3 connected USB devices (in my case, flash drives).
Solves the problem that Amazon introduced by not having an ethernet port and USB port in the Fire TV cube.

Works well with 4K firestick
Tested on my 1 year old 4K fire stick and connected to Ethernet fine with quite quick response and with the appropriate apps found UPnP devices on the network, from which I could stream video and music and browse photos. Also could browse and open files on a usb drive plugged into one of the usb ports. Also wireless keyboard and mouse works well but only with certain apps. Could be better if it had a 1Gb Ethernet port as itâs only 100Kb, but still streamed without buffering.
However, doesnât work at all with old gen 1 firestick.

Perfect for Firestick 4K Max
Exactly what I needed to connect my Firestick 4K Max via ethernet rather than WiFi. Much more reliable streaming now and have the option to add external storage if required.

Great reliability and performance
I have tried several similar products, but none worked as intended until this one. The length of the power cable is perfect, the USB3 ports are capable of managing multiple flash drives without any glitch. Overall, one of the best product in its range, reasonable price and excellent performance. PROS- excellent performance, reasonable price. CONS – none

You can also easily add a wireless game controller and play games via Fire Cube.

Only bad thing is the blue flickering lights coming through the usb ports at night time becomes annoying. Any way to fix this please let me know.

I had an old Alexa Show 10 that the touch screen stopped working. After recommended reset by Amazon to fix (it didnât) the device was unusable because you could not use the touch screen to verify your Amazon credentials (even when using the Alexa app). As such, it was headed for the electronic recycling trash heap.
In packing the device for disposal I noticed a ânetworkâ micro input on the back⦠after some research online I discovered that the Alexa Showâs network input can support OTG. I purchased a USB OTG Cable Ethernet Adapter specifically for FireSticks & Alexa Show and paired it with this mini wireless keyboard.
IT WORKED!! I was able to enter my credentials and now have a fully functioning Alexa Show. I can esc to Home Screen, scroll, type and the touch pad has tap to click functionality.
Now that I know about the network input, Iâm buying several more OTG cables and mini keyboards for my FireSticks to add memory via flash drives and ease of typing with the keyboards.

Expédition longue, mais fait parfaitement le job, sur un firestick, possibilité d’augmenter l’espace de stockage avec une clé USB, une connexion filaire stable avec le port ethernet, et les ports USB, permettent en plus de connecter clavier et souris, un must have pour contrôler sa tele de feu, du bout des doigts, je recommande.

The SMAYS OTG ethernet/USB adapter gave me the means to connect a 2.4G keyboard, mouse and a USB storage device to the Firetvstick. They all work fine and I’m very happy with the purchase. I’m using WiFi to connect the FireTVstick to the internet, so I’m not using the ethernet port on the adapter. A new power cable is supplied with the device to replace the original one. The OTG adapter plugs into the micro USB port on the FireTVstick. The new power cable plugs into the OTG adapter and supplies the power to both adapter and FireTVstick. I have purchased 3 of the SMAYS adapters to connect to my 3 FireTVsticks (one of these is a 4K and the other 2 are the Lite models).
