A tiny but powerful mini PC.
It’s been only a few days since we got this PC but I’m positively impressed, runs on Windows 11 which I was initially very sceptical to use but I’m totally fine with it now. It’s fast and pretty silent so its perfect for work, play, or both. Its powered by a 12th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, which is very powerful CPUs. The integrated Iris Xe graphics are also good enough for basic gaming and other graphical tasks. It comes with a vesa bracket so it can be mounted at the back of the monitor or a tv, this is what I’m planning to do to save space on my son’s desk. Overall, the Minisforum UN1265 is a great mini PC. It’s powerful, it’s affordable, and it’s very compact. If you’re looking for a mini PC for work or play, the UN1265 is a great option with its 32GB Ram + half terabyte of storage. Who should buy it? – anyone who wants a powerful yet compact and affordable device for work or play.

Cute, Cuddly & …. Noisy!!!
I have been considering a mini pc for a while and finally took the plunge with the Minisforum UN1265. It looks great – you can read all the specs elswhere. I have had it up and running for about a week – initially I was concerned as upon set up the pc froze several times during initial updates needing to be restarted at the power button. One of the important reasons I bought this pc is the continual highlighting of how quiet the fan/ cooling system is. I can confirm that this is not the case – the fan can be very noisy and can vary in speed which makes it even more irritating. Strangely it seems worse at start up!!? Having ran it for a few days now the fan does seem to have settled down a bit but continues to rev up and down at start up and occasionally during tasks (that aspect I understand.) Handy and compact with performance levels good for the money but avoid if silent running is what you’re after.

Great powerful little box
This tiny box was surprisingly powerful and silent. It easily exceeded most of my processing requirements (statistical analysis). But the tiny letdown is that you can’t upgrade the Windows Home 11 to Windows Pro 11. The operating system seems locked in the to box MAC address and even a commercial Windows 11 Pro licence doesn’t work for upgrading.It’s a bit of bummer as I wanted to use Windows Remote Desktop which isn’t available on Windows Home 11

A tiny monster!
NOTE: I got this through work so you won’t see ‘verified purchase’.This is a fantastic little machine. It’s very fast, well built, pretty quiet (you can definitely hear the fans when it’s busy) and just a really likeable machine! I used both the pre-installed Windows, and Debian 12. The latter didn’t recognise the WiFi hardware but I was using wired so that didn’t bother me.We also have a NAB9 – I’m not convinced that’s worth the premium as it isn’t noticeably quicker than this – I guess the only reason to go for the NAB9 is if you really need more cores.

Dead after 2 months! Avoid!
This PC is dead after only 2 months of use! I barely got the chance to do something with it and it is dead, pressing the power button and nothing happens! No one to contact or help!THIS IS A COMPLETE RIPOFF! STAY AWAY, DONâT BUY IT AND DONâT LOOSE YOUR MONEY! WHAT A SCAM!
