Have been using it for a week and it seems to smoothly manage several devices simultaneously. I have connected a laptop and a desktop and it performs without issue when connected to dual monitors, capably handling 4K resolution at 60Hz. The device feels well-constructed and features an elegant design that complements most desk arrangements. Its versatility is enhanced by extra USB 3.1 ports and audio support, accommodating a range of peripherals. Transitioning control between different computers, such as laptops and desktops, is smooth without any frustrating delays. Additionally, the ability to provide up to 15W of power to charge connected laptops or tablets is a convenient bonus, keeping devices operational.My desk is still cluttered but now I can declutter it.But, at this price point, a laptop charger would have been nice.

After years of juggling multiple laptops and WFH locations, Iâm finally consolidating back to a single home office workspace. Despite that, the number of devices I work with has not changed. I realized I needed a better way.Iâm very happy with performance and look of the Minisopuru KVM. Searching online it seemed there were a large number of sub-$100 options, a mid-range centered around $200, and then high-end at $300+. As a tech professional, Iâm leery of really inexpensive devices that seem to provide unrealistic performance for the cost, and many of them just really looked âcheapâ. I also didnât want to spend a fortune. This one is right in that middle range of price and performance, has a quality look, and functional design and layout.Initially I was expecting a metal case as looks in pictures, but is actually a heavy and sturdy plastic, without any flex or feeling of a hollow enclosure. Iâm using with a Dell desktop workstation and several Dell laptops running Windows and multiple Linux distros. The desktop stays plugged into the âPC1â connection, and laptops rotate as I need them via âPC2â connection. Iâm not running dual monitors or 4K, but do have a QHD 2560×1440 Dell monitor, so can vouch for performance above FHD 1920×1080 resolutions. Iâm not a gamer or high-end photo or video editor, so high refresh rates, low response times, video lag, color accuracy, or other performance indicators are not something I have experience with. However for normal desktop productivity and managing multiple systems and workspaces, the video performance appears indistinguishable from direct video connections.I always feel I need more USB ports, even if Iâm not using them âright nowâ. To leave the most flexibility, I connected one of the KVM 10Gbit USB-A ports to the USB3 hub built into the monitor, which I use for the USB keyboard connection, laptop cooler, fast-charging to a wireless charger, 3.5mm headphone/line audio out, and an open USB3 port. This leaves open a USB2, 10Gbit USB-A and USB-C ports, as well as another headphone connection on the KVM.For setup, I felt was more efficient and a cleaner look if could orient the KVM vertically. Iâve collected a lot of wire mesh office products I use for both organization and airflow, and found a small mail/envelope divider was about the right size, and also provides channels for cable management…theyâre also ideal for managing your workspace area laptop power supplies and cords.This is my second Minisopuru product, and both have appeared as high quality builds, with good performance and support. Iâll check for their products again as have needs in the future.

Currently using this KVM to connect my dev macbook pro and my gaming machine together to my ultrawide and 2.5k monitor. Everything that is connected with Usb C just works. One switch flips between my two computers, along with audio too. I tried other solutions like Logitech Flow and barrier for software KVM, but hardware KVMs like this one just feel a lot simpler and works without problems.
