The Mirgamo tablet is quite an impressive device. I was in search of something for everyday tasks like browsing, watching videos, and light work, and it performs those functions exceptionally well. Android 14 runs smoothly and responsively, and having Widevine L1 is a bonus for enjoying 1080p HD content on streaming platforms.Its performance is satisfactory, thanks to the octa-core processor and sufficient RAM. While it may not be a high-end device, it certainly meets the needs of daily use. The storage capacity is also good, and the ability to expand it is a nice feature.The battery life stands out; it easily lasts me throughout the day. The display is clear and bright enough for my requirements. I wasnât expecting anything particularly powerful and, to be fair, it doesnât pretend to be. What it does offer, though, is a surprisingly capable and functional bit of kit that performs better than you’d think for the price.If you’re looking at 22GB of RAM (6GB physical and 16GB virtual so take that number with a pinch of salt), 128GB of internal storage, and support for up to 1TB via microSD card. Not bad, considering the cost. In terms of performance, the octa-core processor is decent enough for everyday use browsing, watching YouTube or Netflix, and even the occasional bit of light gaming. Itâs no good for titles like Call of Duty, but for what it is, it holds up.The 10-inch screen is serviceable. At 800×1280 resolution, it won’t win any awards, but itâs perfectly fine for watching films or working your way through a few episodes of a guilty-pleasure reality show.Thanks to Widevine L1 support, you can actually stream Netflix in HD quite uncommon at this price point. The cameras are nothing, weâre talking low-end smartphone quality but theyâll do in a pinch. On the plus side, battery life is solid the 8000mAh battery managed a full car journey from Aberdeen to Inverness without needing a top-up.At under £80, itâs honestly not bad. Makes for a solid bit of kit, something for the kids, or even for parents who just want a simple tablet for Zoom, checking emails, and streaming a bit of telly.As priced you’ll likely be quite pleased.

I was after something I could easily carry about when I’m not at my desk – you know, whether it’s for getting some work done or keeping the little ones entertained. This tablet hits the mark spot on.Setting it up was a doddle, really straightforward stuff. Android 14 runs like a dream, and the facial recognition works brilliantly, even when the lighting’s a bit naff. I’ve loaded it up with all sorts – email apps, kids’ games, streaming services and work bits and bobs. With 22GB of RAM, everything runs smoothly without any stuttering or faffing about.The 10-inch display is properly impressive. The colours are absolutely gorgeous! It’s brilliant when my lad wants to watch his cartoons in high definition, and having Widevine L1 support is a lovely bonus. The keyboard and mouse that came with it aren’t anything special, mind you. They do the job when you need to bang out some emails or crack on with work away from home.The battery life is fantastic – I took it with me on a trip to Leeds whilst binge-watching Netflix, and it still had plenty of charge when I arrived! The tablet does warm up a tad after you’ve been using it for ages, but it’s nothing to worry about, really. Whether I’m having a gaming session, catching up with mates on Zoom, or just scrolling through Reddit once the kids are in bed, this tablet’s proven to be a proper reliable piece of kit!
