Better than the old wooden traps in multiple ways.
Extremely effective (or the mice here are particularly stupid) – I was always a fan of the oldskool wooden “Little nipper” traps, but I figured I should try these, put these and Little Nippers next to each other with identical bait, so far these are winning 3-0. Much easier to dispose of the corpses too, just pick the whole trap up, and squeeze it over a bin to release the victim, no need to touch them. Less likely to snap on your fingers too. Can’t say anything about longevity (trigger catch is plastic and will wear out eventually) but for the price and ease of use they’re great. Only downside I can think of is that they’re quiet when they go off, so you have to check them regularly, don’t expect to hear a loud snap to alert you.

These actually work !
I generally don’t write reviews but I purchased six of these traps and put chocolate spread in the bait section and put them around the edges of my loft . Two days later to my horror there was a rat caught in one of them ! they are easy to use and obviously work . Just adding this after a couple of days , the trap did not kill outright and if left could allow the animal to suffer which is not humane . You must check the traps regularly and be prepared to have live trapped rodents . This can be quite distressing

Jag provade och jämförde en rad olika modeller och varianter genom att gillra dem pÃ¥ golvet i min husbil där jag haft problem med möss. En vecka senare satt tre möss döda i dessa fällor medan ingen hade gÃ¥tt i nÃ¥gon av de andra modellerna. PÃ¥ nÃ¥gra andra modeller hade betet (osten) försvunnit utan att de slagit igen. SÃ¥ ej pÃ¥ denna modell. Bokstavligen “Bäst i test” alltsÃ¥.

Nos hemos encontrado con el gran problema de tener ratones en casa, y estas trampas van muy bien. En una noche hemos cazado un ratón grande y dos crias (como la de la foto, si son más pequeñas leí una opinión donde decia que podian no activar el sensor).Consejo: NO limpieis la zona donde encontreis las heces/ mordidas hasta después de usar la trampa! Cometimos el gran error de limpiar en cuanto lo vimos la suciedad antes de poner las trampas, y los ratones no volvieron a esa zona. Por “suerte”, encontramos la nueva zona donde se movian, pusimos las trampas sin limpiar la zona… Y ya hemos pillado 3 en un dia!Como cebo ponemos crema de cacahuete del Mercadona (3€ vale! me dolió comprarla ya que a nosotros no nos gusta, pero ahora que sé que funciona puedo decir que vale la pena).Y nada, paciencia, vigilad mucho al manipular la trampa, recordad que para poner el debo teneis que desenroscarlo por debajo con la trampa cerrada (si la rellenais por la apertura de la trampa se os puede cerrar y pillar la mano), dejadla mirando hacia la pared (dejando como mínimo 1cm de distancia), poneos guantes para retirar al ratón, y una vez esteis unos dias sin cazar más, desinfectad bien, que estos bichos y sus heces/orina pueden traer enfermedades.Ánimo!
