I have always struggled with different socket set sizes due the vast array of different types of vehicles I regularly work on and the different tools I come across at other peoples workshops. Aa is normal for me I will be using other peoples equipment when they ask for my help and invariably the socket size set is wrong for my tools. So now I take this adapter and reducer set with me at all times. In the past. month since getting it I have needed it twice when working on 1. a large lorry trailer and 2. A JCB digger. The Socket adapters are very well made and the set has 4 reducers: 1″F to 3/4″M, 3/4″F to 1/2″M, 1/2″F to 3/8″M, 3/8″F to 1/4″M; and 4 adapters: 1/4″F to 3/8″M, 3/8″F to 1/2″M, 1/2″F to 3/4″M, 3/4″F to 1″M, 3/8″ it also has a universal 1/2 inch joint… a great variety of adapters and reducers covering most situations.The plastic hard case they come in is very strong but a bit bright LOL it’s Bright RED but that just means it is easy to find in my van which is a shambles LOL. They are extremely strong being made from forged Molybdenum Steel. these are professional standard items that are a great addition to any mechanics tools box. Highly recommended.

I did not request this set for the reducers, I requested this set for the enlargers, the ability to fit a 1 inch drive impact (or not) socket on a 3/4 inch drive (same with 1/2 up to 3/4) was the main reasonLet’s face it, in a pinch and not having a giant 1 inch compressed air driven impact wrench means sometimes improvising, either using a chrome non-impact socket or upsizing an existing smaller driver to a larger impact socket is called for, which this set will allow forThe universal joints are also handy for those odd angle tight spotsThe only thing really missing is an impact extension, which would have made this a truly all in one set

Das Adapter-Set hat mir in der Werkstatt schon mehrfach den Tag gerettet. Besonders beim Arbeiten mit verschiedenen Schlagschraubern und Ratschen ist es extrem praktisch, nicht ständig nach passenden Einsätzen suchen zu müssen. Mit den unterschiedlichen Größen von 1/4” bis 3/4” bin ich super flexibel und kann meine Werkzeuge optimal nutzen. Die Adapter sitzen fest, haben kein spürbares Spiel und wirken absolut robust. Auch unter hoher Belastung bei festsitzenden Schrauben gab es bisher keinen Bruch oder Verformung.Die Universalverbindung in 3/8” und 1/2” erleichtert die Handhabung zusätzlich – gerade bei schwer zugänglichen Stellen. Praktisch: Alles kam ordentlich sortiert an, sodass kein Teil verloren geht. Ob im Heimwerkerbereich oder bei anspruchsvolleren Aufgaben – dieses Set gehört mittlerweile fest in meinen Werkzeugkoffer.
