Absolutely perfect to complete my home-office set-up
Like many folk, my contract for my full time job is now officially “Remote Worker” – yes, I’m lucky enough to work from home!I have a situation where I have two lovely 34″ displays at my home office, which in my normal leisure hours are attached to my home PC for gaming/ editing/ DAW software – along with my USB mic, web cam, and speakers. The set up is great!Now I’m a remote worker, we are forced to use company kit to access company resources, so I now have a laptop I must use. Fair enough! The laptop is used for the 60% of time I work at home, and 40% for when I travel/ meet clients.This MT-VIKI device solves half of my issue: How to use my home desk and peripherals between the two PCs… in as much as it allows me to have a single USB hub that connects my mic, camera, keyboard/ mouse, and speakers… and share it/ them with the two computers.Set up was truly plug and play, although you need to provide your own cables.Using a monitor switch (with similar capability but for HDMI) I now have an brilliant set up that allows me to work + play in the same space without the two environments being shared.100% recommended, and a big thumbs-up!

really simple usb switch, which allows me to use 1 keyboard for both my desktop & laptop (I have separate mice & don’t mind having those as separate as they take up very little room on a desk – previously I had 2 keyboards on the desk, which gave me a lot less room to work. This hub has made a big difference in terms of the ergonomics & strain on my wrists.Definitely recommend

Einwandfreie Sache. Manage jetzt über zwei Dockingstation verschiedene Rechner mit Maus, Tastatur, Dokumentenscanner, Labeldrucker usw. Ein Knopfdruck und die USB-Geräte sind auf der anderen Dockingstation.

I bought this to easily and quickly transfer photos and data from my phones and my laptop. I havent ried it yet because when I finally found this item I had done Googles transfer which I found complicated and annoying ….. wish I had had this before I spent hours learning the process and why it didnt work and then did work but in format that I didnt like so thanks google and microsoft for makeing a previously simple process difficult and awkward.

Thought I could use this to switch my Sony A7 IV camera’s USB output between two computers. It doesn’t work. Alternatively, if I plug the Sony into one of the two switched plugs and the computer to the unswitched single plug, it works fine.Since discovered that it works sometimes, sometimes not, plugging and unplugging cables changes the situation. Suspect loose connector in the box.
