Great for transferring footage via an older reader, a dirt cheap upgrade with rapid offload time!
I actually bought this to upgrade my Lexar Pro workflow MicroSD 3 slot card reader, which is quite old but the most valuable card reader I have ever purchased! I can offload 3 high quality 128GB 4K cards simultaneously and each card takes less than 10 mins, which for a cable this cheap is unreal! The length is perfect, the cable quality is the same as the ones that come with my Sony Pro readers – if someone told me it was Sony, Iâd have just gone with it.Definitely improved my workflow eliminating the need to use USB A-C adapters and canât recommend enough for anyone needing to do data transfers from an older reader or anything.It also saved me when my WiFi & printer stopped communicating and it worked seamlessly for a quick wired connection too. It certainly has a place in the essential cables bag!

This cable can do 10gbps
It wasn’t as thick (cable diameter) as I had hoped because the ‘thin’ ones are usually terrible at high bandwidth requirements, however this cable delivered the goods, does perform at a stable 10gbps.I am not running any power through it so have no idea how many amps it can deliver, though I can imagine if one is buying this cable they are more interested in signal quality and typical power needs rather than high amperage power delivery.Recommended. The plugs fit nicely and snuggly, the USB-C end has a very re-assurring ‘click’ when pushed into a port and there is no wiggle/play, firm inference fit for sure.It is a cable that delivers the bandwidth however it is not a cable that appears to be designed for constant wear and tear, so definitely wouldn’t recommend it to road-warriors, but if you need the cable for home computer perpetual use such as connected a 10gbps hub to your pc, then this cable is perfect for that need, fit and forget it even exists.
