Quick and Easy
I had a QNAP NAS drive with many terabytes of data, in RAID 5… The QNAP product decided it does not want to work anymore. I will never trust that brand again.I bought 2 of these to mount the drives via USB (along with another couple of mounts I already had).Worked as they should, were more than quick enough, power supply did the job perfectly.Nothing more to say, RAID 5 rebuilt and files recovered.

Easy-to-use SATA Adapter – excellent!
I have recently acquired four well-used 3.5 inch SATAs from an old friend. I need to know what, if anything, is on them and whether I need to copy / delete / reformat them.This is a simple, reliable, easy-to-use SATA Adapter. Power supply is wrong
Power supply adaptor is totally the wrong size, pointless, real inconvenience, zero stars

When it works, its okay! Power Supply is awful
The power supply seems to be an issue with this, it gets hot quickly, and I think it has a knock on effect on the adapter as after about 6-15ish minutes, the drive powers down and disconnects from the host machine. When it does work before shutting down though, it’s reasonably quick to transfer files from external HDD’s.

Very impressed
Itâs not often that you get a product out of the âboxâ and it works first time . One of my PC literally went bang and I was desperate to remove data from the hard drive from it . I physically removed the hard drive – and plugged it into this device and then connected rhia to my new PC – it recognised it a new drive and I started the process of transfer straight away
