Install with ease
Use the included security tool to install and remove whenever you need. Simply turn the screw and the Anchor will gently but firmly expand and lock into place. When the cable lock is attached this screw is covered, so the Anchor can’t be removed.
Unlock & go
When it’s time to go simply enter your 4 digit code on the Laptop Combination lock and flick the security switch to unlock. If needed the Anchor Adapter can be uninstalled to free up the audio port.

Good theft deterrent
This is a good laptop theft deterrent for laptops that don’t have a Kensington slot. I work at a university and I use my laptop in busy places so its handy to keep locked where possible. Similar to a bike lock, this isn’t fully theft proof, but a good deterrent for those who want to make a quick steal. It’s easy to use and works well for me. I would certainly recommend this to other teaching staff or students who don’t want their laptops stolen!

Avoid
Be very wary of this product. It attaches to the audio jack socket on your computer by expanding inside the socket when you screw it. The info suggests you can unscrew it and remove it at will.When I received it, before using it on my laptop, I tried screwing the lock to see how it works by expanding, before unscrewing it again to return to the original state. Except, it wouldnât unscrew again. It jammed in the expanded state and would not budge.Thank heavens I had not put it in my laptopâs audio socket because there would now be no way of getting it out. I would be stuck with this lock permanently attached to my laptop. And I would never be able to use the socket for audio again!Unless you want this product permanently jammed onto your computer, and you never want to use your headphone socket again, I would definitely not buy this. A very dodgy product, in my experience.

Simple laptop security out and about
I rely on the Multplx Universal Laptop Security Lock to keep both my mac and my gaming laptop safe wherever I go. It’s incredibly convenient and gives me peace of mind knowing my devices are secure at my coworking office or in a cafe (…pub).Setting it up is super easy by just plugging it into the headphone port and screwing it in. Takes 10 seconds. awesome.

Not just for protecting laptops
I bought this to lock my laptop, but discovered that I can also use it for my Mac desktop and projector. Basically this lock will work with anything that has an audio port. It’s easy to use and the cable is long enough to loop round different anchor points. The price is good value so I’ll be buying more for all my devices.

Laptop kept safe in communal spaces at work
Works as described and easy set up, happy customer! I use this lock at work to secure my laptop to my desk. The Anchor adapter is small so I keep it attached to my laptop and remove the combination lock when I leave. It’s a wonderful solution for keeping my laptop secure at work. Perfect for university
Bought for my son who is going to university and uses the lock around campus for his Dell laptop. He’s found it easy to use and very handy to ensure his device is safe and secure. The cable is long enough to loop around a desk leg, good way to deter thieves from making an easy steal.

This is definitely solves a problem for my legion letter that doesnât have the Kensington lock hole.The only frustrating thing I found when taking it out of the box is that I canât see the digits on the combination. I have to use my camera to zoom in just to unlock it, but maybe thatâs a feature.

This thing does not work at all because you can’t install the screw into the audio port! Why? The screw requires a small Phillips screwdriver and they sent a non-Phillips screwdriver. Luckily I had one of those tiny little eyeglasses screwdrivers⦠And when I used it to try and install the screw into the port, the screw promptly split. I have to send it back and I’m annoyed that I have to waste my time because of this inferior product. If anybody has any suggestions about a good laptop lock, please let me know.

Straight out of the box the lock would NOT open from factory preset of 0000. sent it back and hoping the new one will work. NOT HAPPY!
