It works
This bag is larger as i required, to fit in a 600mm lens. After reworking the internal padding managed to get it in, including its hood. the camera area is a decent space with a little bag that velcros in, if required. Some of the outer pockets with zips are very small and not sure how usefull will be. Security wise thaving to take off to open is ok and found safer. The lock on top not too sure how good would be. the pocket for the lap top does not open wide, and gives a small amount of storage, but not sure how usefull will be. the rain cover fitted well over the bag. Nice touch with the tripod being on the middle outer, thus leaving space for two bottles on the sides.the waste belt, helps with walking in with the weight, and also has the chest strap.overall happy. Have a lot of walking to do with this in May, so will see how functions.13/05/2024 – Update, back from trip to Norway and use on 4 outings. 2 were pure walking, bag was comfortable and held well with all straps in use. Did not have to use rain cover, packed food and a clothing layer in. Overall very happy with bag and hope lasts for a few years.

Great value and great bag.
I’ve owned several camera backpacks, from fairly cheap ones to expensive ones and the Neewer Bag is up there with the best. I bought it mainly for the depth as my previous backpack couldn’t store a camera with a battery pack attached, the Neewer does it easily. In fact it holds both my D810 and D500 with battery pack attached easily with plenty of room for lenses. I store a Nikon 24 -120mm, Nikon 80-200mm, and Nikon 300mm, Tokina 17-35mm and a Nikon 50mm in the bag plus assorted accessories such as batteries, filters etc and that is just in the main compartment. There is room for a laptop in another compartment a several small pockets to keep various articles. There is also a combination lock for the zips that is easily changed by watching a you tube video (no instructions included to change the code). I have used the bag in a heavy shower and it’s held off the rain well, but there is a waterproof cover included. The Neewer Backpack is probably the best bag I have owned, it is light, comfortable to carry around and stores everything I need for a days photo shoot. Highly recommended.

Brilliant PIece of Kit
I bought this to replace a perfectly serviceable Camera backpack which was simply a little too small. It wasn’t because I have stacks of Photo equipment but because being a lady, I also needed room for such things as my purse, keys, mobile, water bottle and even a small packed lunch in necessary! (unlike guys I rarely have lot s of pockets available) as I didn’t want to be encumbered by a handbag. This back pack has far exceeded my expectations in so may ways. It is seriously capacious, seems quite strong, very well made and very comfortable to wear. The main compartment is deep enough for me put my ‘AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR’ – Standing Up with room to close it all up which surprised me. I went out with it loaded up not only take take pictures but to see how it felt on my back (I sometimes get a little back ache problem) – very comfortable. I was a little concerned prior to arrival that the waist strap might not fit (I simply have a temporarily large waist 🙂 ). The waist strap is plenty long enough for most anyone. The Lock is very well fitted into the fabric and seems to function well, the back compartment is also quite roomy with a laptop/tablet pocket within and room for other items.Judging by the prices of similar backpacks of this capacity and versatility, Neewer have produced a quality product at anywhere between 1/2 to 1/3 of the price.

Excellent Size
Bought this to take my Nikon dslr with a 200-500mm lens attached, fit is perfect and can also get in my other 3 lenses. Like the idea that you have to remove the camera bag to access the main storage area which means no one can steal your goods while itâs in your back

Perfect for Me
I’m not going to review this case as there is plenty of reviews about it. I’ll tell you what fits inside it .I have a Nikon D850 with a 150-600mm lens attached , it fits in the middle compartment with the lens hood in the stored position on the lens, next to it is a 100-400mm lens with room to spare , on the left side is a 24-70 lens, using a velcro divider I put a Nikon D7200 in .Where the body of the D850 fits is a small padded bag with a zip opening, I have put in that 6 batteries, 4 memory cards and 2 cleaning clothes. The case is waterproof as I have used it on a photo shoot in the rain but it does come with a plastic waterproof cover though I never used it.I did fit the 100-400 lens on the camera with lens hood attached ready to use and it fits in the middle compartment just the same as with the big lens attached. It was exactly what I was looking for and is perfect for me.

*****Awesome Dslr Backpack*****
I have been searching for a good camera backpack for ages and have had several(named brands) which I thought would be good….but we’re not up to scratch. You think you getting quality by going with the big name brands but sadly I did not find this the case.I saw this backpack….and by first impressions by the pictures it looked pretty decent….price was average….i was Umming and Rr-ing….for a couple of days, then I thought I’ll purchase it and if it is not what I want I can return it.I’m so glad I did buy it. This dslr backpack blows any backpack I have ever owned, and that is a few, all major name brands. It is sturdy and very well made. I have quite a bit of camera gear and it all fits in perfectly…that is also including a square filter system….5 lenses…2 bodies…circular filters….you get the jist, with still room to spare. The lock is a nice touch ( only downside to the lock is that a key is not provided) so don’t forget your combination. If there is a key I have not found it yet.I would without any doubt highly recommend this dslr backpack to anyone.Well done Neewer*****.

I personally think it’s overpriced, ’caused it’s written in the description that it’s waterproof but it isn’t waterproof without the rain cover which means the part it covers is the back of the bag-pack when you wear it but from the chains water will get inside which could be harmful for any camera gears and most over even if you are even using the rain cover water goes through doesn’t matter how waterproof it says, didn’t meet my expectations for the price i paid which is a little overpriced for a back-pack, water passes through every corners, i travel a lot and i take my camera gear with me so i wanted a totally water proof and shockproof but last week when i was returning from my tour, it was raining and i thought my bag would make it through the rain, but it didn’t . i haven’t tested the “shockproof” thing on it yet or should i say i haven’t got the chance to test it yet, however overall i’ll give it 3 stars out of 5 ’cause you know i like to get the things done for which i paid for . So, as per my experience with this product is not so good , i’ll say it’s usable and if your’re thinking to get it then i’ll personally suggest that you get a raincoat if you don’t have one.

(I have also noticed this bag is no longer listed as of this review ~ 01-09-19)First, I was hesitant in ordering this Backpack, mainly cause the Neewer light setup I purchased was nothing “special”, there was nothing wrong either, but it didn’t make me rave about it…although, I was not expecting top quality at $70!So, I needed a new bag for my new camera and wanted something I could travel with on vacation and take on a local hike. This bag met all my criteria and MORE!! I absolutely love it!! I almost ordered a different brand at TWICE the amount! Luckily, I did a youtube search on it for reviews and someone had reviewed this Neewer bag right beside the other brand, PolarPro @TWICE the cost. I literally couldn’t believe they were IDENTICAL!! …only difference was obviously the name, and some colour of trim… Clearly the Neweer is the BETTER BAG… ITS HALF THE PRICE!!!Other manufacturers take note!! This is what a $100 bag should be made like! This bag is very, VERY nice!Holds a full frame (D850) and an APS-C camera body, four lens, 35mm, 14-24, 24-70, 70-200, a large Giotto’s Rocket Blower, a lens pen, sensor cleaning kit, lens filter pouch (8 filters), a 15″ laptop, and can still hold more, (limiting factor is your back) yeah pretty much all my camera gear, minus a couple batteries, charger & cpu cables, and it would have no problem fitting in there as well!!I would buy this bag again in a heartbeat!..Amazon, re-list this bag PLEASE!! Two strangers have asked were I got it, but I had to tell them it is no longer listed…I don’t even recommend the polar pro, its just too expensive!Neewer Camera products are really starting to gain traction!! Bang for Buck Quality has been very good for the couple products I have of theirs, (3 Light setup) …I might need a belt to keep my pants up, from the money I still have in my wallet…I would not hesitate to purchase another Neewer product in the future after seeing the craftmanship of this bag/backpack!Hive Five Neewer!!Super HAPPY Camper!!
