AUTOMATIC SCANNING: NT-1228BC barcode scanner have three scanning modes: manual trigger mode, continuous scanning mode and auto-sensing scanning mode. In addition, there is a storage mode. Storage mode can be used when you are out of range of Bluetooth and wireless connectivity. Supports storage of up to 100,000 barcodes. Note: Before use, you need to scan the corresponding setting barcode on the manual.
2600mAh BATTERY UPGRADED: Continuous scanning up to 200,000 times on a full charge. After a full charge the scanner can be used for one month at least, even in warehouses and at pos checkout counters where scanners are frequently used. In libraries and hospitals it can be used even longer.
PROGRAMMABLE CONFIGURATION: Add custom prefixes/ suffixes, delete characters, Add keyboard keys/ combinations (terminator TAB, CR&LF, Home etc.), Enable or disable the barcode type as you want. In addition to a sound and LED illumination, when a scan is successful, you will receive a tactile signal in the form of a mild vibration. It err, scans barcodes real good
After a couple of years using an eBay cheap-as-wet-socks scanner, we celebrated the 7,592nd time of accidentally dropping it on the floor and it finally giving up the ghost. Needed one quickly so to Amazon we went. Think we paid around £20, it doesn’t show the cost on this review screen, but if it was, that means we’ve probably paid 3 times more than the old one. No issue with that as it feels comfortable in the hand and the button has a satisfactory “click” to it. The highlight for us, is it being wireless, we don’t need to keep it on the edge of the table anymore like the old one due to cable length, meaning it shouldn’t be dropped so often (I have hope!!).Battery life is good so far, we don’t use it daily but it seems alright to me :)The little programming book is clear and concise and we’ve had zero issues with more difficult barcodes.TL;DR: scans barcodes very well, good battery, satisfying button clicking sound.

Love it as a software engineer
I initially ordered this scanner to make my own custom POS system. Initially, I connected through Bluetooth and it was recognised as a plug and play device. It was essentially a wireless keyboard which scans text, types it very fast and adds a âreturnâ key at the end.I was amazed to go to the support website and find tons of different ways to program this scanner and the most important one to me was that it supported Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). With this, I could connect directly to the app I was developing and send data back and forth from the barcode.One thing Iâd like to see improved is a way to send and receive silent messages. Right now, I can request the scannerâs battery level by sending a code to the scanner but this triggerâs the scannerâs beep just like as if it was physically scanned. Of course, you could disable the beeper all together but thatâs not what I want. Iâd like to send and receive the battery messages silently and keep everything else audible. Still giving 5 stars but Iâd like to see an improvement where specific messages can be silent

Value Barcode Scanner
I purchased this scanner to be able to be wire free and to reliably read Barcodes of various qualities, To me this model has so far, been able to complete this function. Another need was to be able to reliably scan the barcodes on long stockist sheets and again this model achieves this. What it cant do is scan QR Codes.What is also good is the fact that you can interface with a Mac/ PC/ iPad using Bluetooth/Cable/Wireless.Another good thing with this scanner is that the battery will last for a large number between Charges.All in all a great value basic Barcode Scanner.

EXACTLY what I was looking for!
Connects over Bluetooth to my iPhone and lets me scan barcodes directly into the inventory app I use for work.Comes with a booklet of barcodes you scan to change settings on the scanner, you will need to give it a flick through to find the right one for your use case. But after that itâs so quick and easy to use!! ð

I purchased this to be a QR scanner via bluetooth to work with our ipad based EPOSnow system and its Loyalty.dog reward integration.I ran into issues when scanning the QR code where the output was off by a few characters.I reached out to support by email, they responded within 24 hours and really put in a lot of time and effort to help me figure out what was going on.In the end they recommended that I scan the barcode to confirm that I am in UK english as when they tested my QR code it seemed that it was using the Russian setting.Everything is working nicely, it has been a good support experience and so far the scanner works really well, we purchased this to replace a really expensive Socket mobile scanner. This one is much better in my opinion.

Does what it says on the tin
I will keep this short and to the point. I shall also try and find the time as do a video review so it can be seen in action.Plug and play = it sure is after a very quick automatic install of drivers. Works effortlessly via both cable and Bluetooth.Works on PC/laptop and my Android 5.0 mobile/cell phone. It wasn’t so keen on reading barcodes and QR codes off my mobile phone screen but it managed no problems reading off my PC screen. not that I’ll ever use that ability.I found it a nice comfortable grip in the hand with a nice lightweight yet robust feel to it. Nice and easy to use trigger.Changing settings is quick and easy and done using barcodes. A quick Start guide included provides some of the main settings whilst an easy to find full guide can be found online for the rest.I’m actually saying I’d give it a 4.5 rating as there is some really minor things that I would change if given the chance but they are just purely personal preference things and maybe not worth the mentioning?
