Great product
Everything as described … thank you seller

This is the older ‘S’ type lens, not the newer ‘P’ type. Note body compatability.
This is a ‘used’ zoom lens for my Nikon D70 camera body. Like all Nikon Nikor lenses it is well made and easy to use. It is a VR lens to reduce ‘shake’ in images and is quick and simple to attach.

Brilliant lens
So happy with this purchase. I only had a basic kit lens for my camera (Nikon D3100) and wanted a zoom lens to replace it. I took a chance on this one as I have never bought a refurbished one before but I am over the moon with it, it arrived very well packed and looks & works like brand new. I am still getting to grips with all the settings but the photos I have taken up til now are beautiful, clear and crisp. Can’t wait to take more shots with it.

Lens is great; accessories were missing
The lens came with a Nikon instruction manual, as expected. The manual lists accessories which should be included: an LC-67 front cap, an LF-1 rear cap, a, HB-36 hood, and a CL-1022 flexible pouch. The caps were provided; the hood and pouch were not. Checking the page for HB-36 hoods shows Snap-it-up offering them for £25, so they have them but chose not to included one. I guess they can make more selling them separately as replacements, but this seems like sharp practice to me.

Looks brand new
First time I’ve bought a renewed lens and very impressed. I can hardly tell it wasn’t brand new and it came with all original packaging. Image-wise, it’s nice and sharp throughout the range but especially good at f7 at 70mm and f9/10 at 200-300. It fits full frame but I’m using it on a D7200 (crop) so even the edges are clean. Bought it to replace a Tamron 70-300 and it beats it hands down.

Poor quality
The lens arrived – no protection bag (wrapped in bubble wrap) or proper Mount protection. (Just a flimsy clear plastic one). The lens was clearly pretty warm – scuff marks / warn lens marking and it appeared to have been handled last by someone with chocolate (I hope!) all over there fingers. On mounting and trying the lens it made very unpleasant grinding noises and the viewfinder view showed the focus vibrating wildly. A basic internet research showed that this is a faulty lens – with reviews saying shops had said lenses with such issues werenât worth the cost of repair. Iâd bought this lens for a âtrip of a lifetimeâ safari. With no time to replace Iâll take a spare camera. Not happy. You should send what you say you send in terms of protection bags / mounts and Iâd put (this example) at car boot sale quality at best. At c. £400 this wasnât an âeBay buyâ – I expect better from Amazon and their retailers.

As good as the reviews say.
It`s a Nikon so won`t be cheap. A giant step forward from the older lens it replaced. Silent focus sounds and great glass. Even at full price it`s worth the money.

Product in good condition, Great Shame the lense pouch was not included as advertised
Product in good condition, Great Shame the lense pouch was not included as advertised which would have added greater protection
Ikky –
Zoom fonctionnel mais emballage un peu light

My lens arrived today and if it deviates in any way from the seller’s description it’s that the condition is even better than was described. I spent the afternoon taking some test shots and every function was perfect.
