Remarkably good
I bought this on a whim thinking I could extend the use of my living room TV as a monitor for it. I was very pleased by the appearance of the item itself & set it up using my computer keyboard & mouse. I was very impressed by the speed & ease in setting up. Some reviewers have said the WiFi connectivity was poor but although my hub was downstairs & I was upstairs in an office at the other side of the house, connecivity was perfect. The manufacturer does advise you to skip updates during installation as this it says can cause substantial delays but I went ahead anyway & the device updated quickly & without issues. Once installed & up & running I connected it to my TV & checked the specs as laid out by the manufacturer were accurate. Everything spot on, some say the got Windows 11 Home but no, mine came with Pro with Bitlocker accordingly being available. RAM as stated, SSD & it’s capacity as stated. The mini computer has run perfectly so far & is quicker than my hi spec tower system in the office. I have connected a usb hub to it to use for a wireless keyboard & mouse so as not to take up too many usb ports & it’s fine. I admit it will mainly be used for surfing the net & streaming things like YouTube but it certainly works perfectly. As a 70 year old who worked with the leviathan computers in the 1970s, but latterly with the recent towers & laptops running Windows 11 I must say I find the size & power of this thing quite astonishing! Obviously cannot comment on how long it will last but I don’t think for the price I paid it matters that much as long as everything is nicely backed up to another drive & they’re cheap enough now too. I’d recommend this to anyone wanting an inexpensive computer & of course, being so tiny, it’s very portable.

I work predominantly from my tablets which are ridiculously easy to travel with, but tablets are android so many SaaS products are a pain on Android. So decided I needed a computer for when I am at home and I need to use a windows machine. Was contemplating a laptop but then came across this little device. Must admit wasn’t really sure if it was a gimmick but the reviews were good so bought it (EUR 170 vs a laptop that would have cost 500-700 euros). Am blown away.A few things:- Tons of ports. I literally don’t have use for all of them.- Love the dual HDMI ports so can attach 2 monitors without having to buy a splitter.- Ridiculously quiet. As in you can’t hear it at all and so far doesn’t get hot.- Quite zippy… to be fair, I use it predominantly for web based activities (AI, online video editing and lots of various intensive cloud based stuff. I downloaded a few apps (trello, etc) and the speed at which they open is brilliant. Multitasking is a pleasure. I don’t really watch videos or play games, but tried playing a video while working to test it and it worked perfectly.- Setup is a breeze. Not too much bloatware (but it is windows… still, you can remove everything really easily… took less than 3 mins).- Very elegant. Really small and well built. Looks great (if that’s important for you) plus has a cool (comes in the packet) bracket and screws so you can screw it to the back of a large monitor if you have it. I don’t use it like that, but it’s a nice option.- soft blue light to show you it is on. In a working space you don’t see it. In complete darkness you might but why would you have it on in complete darkness?Personal recommendation?- Buy this version and not the newer one which is 30% smaller from the same company) and save yourself 30 euros or more. Unless you plan to travel a lot with it then spend the extra money and you’ll be really surprised by this. I don’t move it around much so the size is not relevant (and this is really small… if I open my hand I cover the device)- Fantastic machine, fast, quiet and perfect for my needs to have a affordable device as my working station (for my needs which do not involve heavy apps).
