Sound and picture quality is great for what I need
This is an ideal, cheapish camera, took a few minutes to work out how it fitted onto the top of the screen – doh! Sound and picture quality is great for what I need which is mainly for training webinars and my friend likes to use messenger to talk to me on screen.

Great Webcam, But Not Exactly Hollywood Quality!
I picked up this Nulaxy 1080p webcam thinking it would make me look like a star during video calls. Well, itâs more like a mid-budget TV show than a blockbuster movie. The picture quality is good, but not âwow, Iâm flawlessâ goodâmore like, âhmm, maybe I should fix that lightingâ good. Itâs sharp enough to show Iâm human, but thankfully not so sharp that it reveals every wrinkle and pore in terrifying detail.Setup was a breezeâjust plug and play, and the built-in microphone does a solid job. It captures my voice clearly enough that no one can miss my extremely important thoughts during meetings. But, the image can get a little grainy in low light, so if youâre planning to use this for streaming or YouTube, you might want to invest in some lighting or embrace the mysterious shadowy look.All in all, itâs a great webcam for the price, but donât expect to look like youâre in 4K cinema. Perfect for meetings, just maybe not for your Oscar-winning close-up!

Great webcam for the price
This was purchased in May 2021 during the Covid19 lock down and was used virtually every day for meetings.This is a great camera, with no issues, clear light and a clear picture. Still going strong. I’m about to purchase the same one again as a backup.

I purchased this at a time when I needed it for a online exam and I have to see the quality was amazing and better than what I had expected and I also like the feature were the camera can be turned off by the covet.

Stop working after a while.
Great product and very clear camera. But unfortunately after a few years the product stops working properly. The webcam keep turning on and off which is very unprofessional and annoying when you are in a meeting.

A simple, yet very good, camera.
Extremely easy to install and set up on my LG OLED TV.The picture quality is nice and smooth. Even though I’ve only just got it and haven’t used it for a video call yet, I feel like it will be able to handle it quite well.On the value for money side of things, I don’t think I could have made a better choice.

Best webcam I have ever used .Very easy to install and run on your computer. Love the extra security feature of a cam slide so when not in use the cover stops anyone who hacks into my computer from seeing password inputs etc. Great purchase at a very reasonable price. Would recommend it to anyone who is new to webcams

Great camera but after few months having issues
For the price the quality is really good, and I love the fact that you slide the plastic bit to close the camera. Those are the reasons I bought it.BUT now occasionally starts glithcing out (like I am disappearing) and it disconnects randomly, interfering with my work, stream and gaming as Windows makes the ‘disconnect’ sound, and makes the PC freeze for 2 seconds. I have tried different USB ports, updated all drivers plus use the webcam on a different computer.The webcam is faulty and now useless so my money wasted.

Camera is as described. The privacy cover is a great to have. Video quality is decent but a little over exposed. Field of view is surprisingly wide. Fisheye distortion is present, but limited only at the edge. Built-in mic does an average job, nothing spectacular here. Installation was a breeze. Built quality is good too. It does a decent job for casual video conferencing.Overall, a value for money camera/mic alternative to the laptop camera that just works well. I would recommend it, but maybe not for the avid live streamer.

In depth review of the Nulaxy C900 WebcamPackaging:Nice little box. Looks nice and premium. Well packed, not worried about shipping damage at all. The webcam itself is in a bag, in the box and as protective layer that covers the lens area.Installation:Plug and play. The hinge mechanism looks very sturdy and holds the webcam very well on your monitor. It doesn’t move. You can adjust the angle of the camera easily, however you probably want to hold the base with your other hand while you do it.The webcam:Looks nice, but a bit on the bigger size. The privacy shutter is a very nice touch. Red led when powered and green light when connected so you know when it’s capturing video.Video quality:Good. It’s not 4k, but for 1080 30 fps and $40, not bad at all and does the job perfectly. The camera does a great job adjusting for ambient lighting, and it works very well even in a dark environment.Sound quality:Wow this is surprising. It’s GOOD. For this cheap, sound is clear and doesn’t pickup too much background noise.Final wordsIf you need a camera for conversations with family, friends. Or if you need it for classes or work. For $40 it’s very good and the mic quality is surprising. Sure you could have better video quality with something else, but it will run you over the $100 price point for sure.Even come with a 2-year warranty, very good value for the price.

I wanted to replace my aging Logitech Orbit MP, as the resolution on the Logitech wasn’t cutting it anymore. I felt I could compromise on some of the features of the Logitech such as motorized zoom, pan, tilt, and tracking since we usually stay stationary during a video call and I didn’t want to break the bank.Installation was as simple as plugging it into the computer. Picture quality was generally good and it was a definitely an upgrade in resolution from my old Logitech. I never had an issue with audio. The built in privacy cover was a plus and the LEDs that light up when it is in use is also helpful. Overall, for the price, it’s a good webcam that I’d be happy to purchase again.Few notes: This is a wide angle webcam. It’s great for skype with the whole family. It’s fine for just one person so it captures pretty wide, but with the background replacement functionality, it works well enough. There is no internal hardware zoom. It swivels left and right, but there is no tilt up and down. You can adjust the tilt by hand and it stays pretty well on my monitor, but I would have liked to have it tilt up and down (with the clip staying stationary) versus messing with the clip that holds the camera to the monitor. The webcam stays put on my monitor, but it’s not the most positive feel. It will move if you bump it. But, because of how I’m using it, I felt these were all things I could live with, especially for the price point. Also, many of the webcams in this price range have the same “features” i.e. no tilt, similar clip, etc. My expectations for a webcam in this price range were met or exceeded.
