Drone-tastic for a newbie
I picked up this mini drone with a 4K camera to see if I’d really enjoy flying a drone before committing to something more expensive, and it’s been a fun albeit steep learning curve. The carbon fiber shell is tougher than I expected – I’ve had a few minor crashes learning to navigate, and it’s held up without any issues, which is a relief as a newbie. The one-click take-off and landing has been like a guardian angel looking over my drone, especially when I’m still getting the hang of handling it. I love the adjustable speed too – starting slow has helped me practice without the panic of it whizzing away too fast and potentially losing control. The dual cameras are surprisingly clear and fun to use – I actually captured a cool aerial shot of my home and property boundaries and a close-up of my dogs running in the back garden from below. The carry case is always a nice touch and keeps everything organised, so I can toss it in my bag without any hassle. On the whole, this drone has let me dive into the hobby without breaking the bank, and I’m definitely hooked!

Great fun – but prospect of loss is a bit worrying
This drone is a great little starter kit . Very robust (as my newly trimmed bushes will attest) but you really need to start in a big open area as it can drift in the wind and end up in next door’s garden with the slightest of ease.It comes in a neat packing case with a spare battery (and as the batteries are recharged using a mini usb direct into the battery, it’s possible to charge one whilst using the other.) As a beginner the batteries gave me a round ten minutes flight time (I use the term ‘flight’ to include crashing!). The case isn’t a protective case though – it’s possible to accidentally turn on the drone without taking it out of the pack.In use there are three technical components. Firstly the remote control needs to connect to the drone, next your phone needs to connect to the remote and thirdly , the phone via the remote to the cameras on board . This means setting your phone wifi to the drone channel then turning everything on in a specific order. Once you’ve pressed the power on the remote and drone, it’s ready to go [You don’t actually need the phone to fly the drone, this is for controlling the photographs from the camera)Even for a beginner like me it was a great, smooth take off and a pleasing “whine” from the four rotors [make sure to pull them out in the correct order). Control of speed is on the left joy stick, direction on the right. Probably child’s play to a child but took me a while to get my head around it and when the wind ‘helped out’ I was often concerned I was going to lose the vehicle over the fence. Landing the first couple of times was equally successful with a controlled descent. Once I got a bit more confident the landings didn’t improve – often coming down and trimming the bushes or plants on the way.The photographs are OK – not really HD but they will do for the sort of price this is being sold at… and there’s a second camera which attaches to the top of the drone . I did find it a little frustrating connecting the camera to the phone but I’m sure that this will come in time – until I have the hang of always getting the drone to land in a suitable spot, it’s not high on my priority list. I’d share one of my initial photographs apart from the fact that it is so poor due to operator competence.I’m not sure that the “obstacle avoidance” mode is really very obvious as pressing a remote button once turns it on and pressing again turns it off – I don’t think there’s an indication of which state the button is in until the drone bangs into something. The “Return to home” button also seems a little prone to random levels of success.Currently recharging the batteries with one of the provided leads and one of my own (the kit doesn’t include a dual micro usb lead). When the batteries do run down you will find that some of the rotors will spin but not the others, so don’t be worried that that last crash broke something [the kit does come with spare rotor blades as well)Light enough to carry around in a backpack, this starter drone could open up views of the world and your surroundings that you’d never imagined being able to see.

Fantastic machine
I Just Love it ! I always wanted to buy a drone for myself , first thing it’s not that expensive! 2nd it’s very easy to use and fly , built quality is much much better! Camera quality could be lil more batter but overall it’s good .

Les matériaux semblent résistants aux chocs, ce qui est rassurant pour un usage par des enfants. L’efficacité du contrôle, que ce soit en mode moto ou drone, est satisfaisante.👍 Conclusion :Ce jouet offre une expérience de jeu innovante et variée. Il combine astucieusement plusieurs fonctions en un seul produit, ce qui peut être vu comme une approche plus durable. Un bon choix pour les enfants technophiles, à condition de bien les encadrer dans l’utilisation.

Acheté pour un anniversaire j’ai longtemps attendu que le jour du déballage arrive pour le voir en action, ce petit appareil en plus d’avoir un super design vol extrêmement bien et est facile à manœuvrer… après quelques erreurs de parcours mdr.En bref l’enfant qui l’a reçu est ravi et moi déçu de ne pas pouvoir l’essayer, il me reste plus qu’à m’en prendre un!
