Perfect selfie stick/stand
I bought this item so me and my wife can take a videos and pictures together without asking someone to take us a pictures. We already used it many items when we travel and it works perfectly. There are many similar products but after hours of research I decided on this one and glad I did.I like screw adjusted clamp for the phone – more secure than the spring only type.The tripod head has a standard 1/4 inch screw to mount alternative fitments like a lightThe remote button a nice tight fit in the housing and has a slit to attach to a key fob or the supplied lanyardThe remote has an on/off switch and takes the most common CR2032 batteriesThe tripod comes with a carry caseThe tripod seems robust and well madeThe tripos comes with a GoPro head as well as the standard smart phone head

Sturdy
I use a camera back with a lens protector on my honor 90 phone and as such I don’t want to remove it because over time it will damage the integrity of the fitting and also I’m overly keen to protect the lens on the phone.All the moving parts of this tripod are sturdy and you can rest assured that it will last.The remote control works with both photo and video with my phone and the Bluetooth connection is reliable and quick.For me personally I think the adjustable phone grip is not designed to hold a phone with a protective back, where the phone sits there is little space for the adjustable screw grip to properly grip the phone (this won’t be an issue with a phone on its own).I was also shocked to nearly damage my phone when adjusting the phone grip as it nearly damaged the screen because it wouldn’t grip properly because of the protective phone back I use.I have found a work around which I have 100% faith in my phone will not accidentally drop out of the grip but holds it securely in place without over tightening the screw.Image 3 A strip of heavy duty velcro (available on Amazon) on the adjustable grip along with a large piece of velcro on the credit card holder Image 5 (this doesn’t interfere with it’s function as a credit card holder, however you do lose the kickstand function.This option gives you two secure methods to mount a phone both with and without the adjustable phone grip Images 7 & 8.To make the GoPro mount option I used a GoPro wrist mount and cut off the straps etc and attached a square piece of velcro (images 1 & 2). I would recommend if you do this to also use some super glue to fix in place as due to the strength of the velcro grip it can come apart, I chose to stitch it to the modified wrist mount.I have tried and tested these modifications also mounting my phone to my bike, I have used the adjustable grip (image 3) with the tripod and swung the hell out of it and with the velcro it doesn’t budge.I can thoroughly recommend this tripod very good quality for the money and built to last. You can use my work around to use the supplied phone grip or purchase a different grip preferably a spring type grip. This option is only necessary if you have a protective phone back and don’t want to remove it.PLEASE NOTEAll images are without the phone (I used the phone to take the pictures) I wanted you to see the type of phone protector I was using.

Remote stopped working
I really want to give 5 star because the product is fantastic in many ways, it isn’t at all flimsy. It’s quite larger than what I expected but that adds to its stability.Now my only downside is that the remote has stopped working. I’ve changed batteries many times but still will not work after only using it a handful of times. I would like a replacement remote sent out please.

Great product, looks and feels expensive, while the price is actually reasonable. Quite heavy but also very sturdy. Bluetooth connection is spot-on. All-in-all, a good investment.
