Good alternative to Hue Bulbs with Hue Bridge.
I bought these as a cheaper alternative to Hue bulbs for my bedroom. Easy to use but do not dim as low as the Phillip’s Hue bulbs, as they are in a bedroom and in a fitment that takes 3 bulbs. This bothers me a little but elsewhere in the house these would be more than suitable, or where only one bulb is required for the light fitting.The range of colour is good but the bulbs are not as hazy as Hue bulbs when glancing directly at them. When used with a shade this would not be noticeable but if you are using a candle bulb without a shade you will see a difference. It is not unpleasant but different. I bought these on offer, on a flash sale I think, for less than 10 pounds and at that price they are amazing and would definitely buy more at that price. Closer to the price of Hue bulbs I personally prefer Hue. Also a bridge is required for them to work as smart bulbs. One other small gripe is that when first bought the olour temperature was different on one than the others. If powered off at the wall switch they can reset to different colour temperatures. This looks odd when they are all in the same fitting.They work well with my Hue Dimmer Switch and app.

After looking for GU10 Zigbee compatible bulbs that weren’t £50+ each, I was happy to come across these bulbs recently launched in the UK. I bought 8 and fitted them in our lounge.Setup was simple with the hue system/app. Simply plugged them all in and opened the app, 7/8 were picked up. I had to then close the app and rescan to find the final one. Quite straightforward.They are a great bulb with plenty of light on the ‘read’ setting via the hue app. The colours are different to HUE bulbs, but the off tone I think compliments the room with the hue bulbs in our lamps. Because of the size of the unit and tech needed, there are actually several different LED elements to this bulb and switching colours is literally one LED off and another on, as each LED does different spectrums. This is disappointing as you can’t fade/morph between colours like you can do with the HUE standard bulbs – probably because of the tech not fitting in the unit to do that. This means when changing colours you get a flicker. I’ve also noticed that occasionally the bulbs don’t respond when using Alexa. I.e. ‘switch off lights’ and one might be left on, so I have to go again. This seems a slight bug in the bulb software.But ultimately hats of Osram for bringing a more reasonably priced GU10 to the market, and I would recommend these bulbs.

Worth the setup time
I’ve had the whole house kitted out with Phillips Hue lighting for the last couple of years with the exception of the hallway that has 16 GU10 spotlights…. Initially I bought the phillips GU10s at £50 a pop, but when it turned out they were too long to fit in the firerated downlighters I instantly gave up and returned them – mainly because the bulb cost for one room was already ridiculous.I saw the osram versions on offer at £26 a bulb and thought I’d try again. The end result is perfect, they do fit in firerated downlights and at near half the cost. Do note though, if planning to mix these with phillips GU10s in the same room they will look different and IMO it doesn’t look right.The setup is a bit of a pain… I had to download a 3rd party hue app (Hue lights v2.9) and with all other zigbee bulbs off, connect 1 bulb, then force ”touch link” it via hue lights v2.9, then disconnect it, rename it in the official hue app, reboot the hue bridge and repeat the same for the next one. Some bulbs didnt want to play first time round and had to be reset (with all zigbee bulbs and bridges off… turn light on for 5 secs, turn light off for 5 secs – repeat 5 times untill the light is on, it will flash – at this point instantly turn it off and back on, then try touch link again). It took a couple of hours to get 16 bulbs working… Still worth the hassle, just need to make sure the Hue bridge config is backed up – looking into how to do this now.

Very annoying buzz from these
2 of these E14 bulbs arrived today. The first, I was able to integrate into my SmartThings setup within 30 seconds of installing the bulb into the table lamp. The second needed to be reset but once reset, also took no more than 30 seconds to get setup in SmartThings.The bulbs themselves are a bit larger than a normal E14 bulb but not an issue for me, where I have both installed in bedside lamps. They are quite a bit heavier though. When lit up, the provide good brightness and the ability to dim them and add them to my scenes and automations is excellent.I’m marking them down a star because when lit up, there is very obviously a string of seperate LEDs around the base of the glass piece. This does take away from their aesthetic and means I would not recommend these bulbs in any lamps where they might not be covered (ie some chandaliers) because it will detract from the look.Update 19/06: Iâve now noticed a pretty audible buzz coming off these and it gets even worse if the bulbs are not set to 100%. Makes them completely useless for my bedside lamps. Very very disappointing particularly when this is mentioned in other reviews – which makes it my fault I guess.

J’ai un faible pour ces lampes dynamiques connectées OSRAM qui fonctionnent sur un pont Hue de chez Philips, cela dit pour en tirer le meilleur parti, il est nécessaire de procéder à la MAJ du firmware, celui d’origine est en version 1.05.10, il est nécessaire de posséder le hub Osram Lightify Gateway. Vous trouverez sur le Web plusieurs offres intéressantes, par la suite il vous sera possible de piloter les deux environnements Philips & OSRAM, depuis Alexa vous pourrez utiliser différents périphériques, le détecteur de mouvement OSRAM est minuscule et fonctionne parfaitement avec des lampes Hue.

Déçu car ce sont des ampoules reconditionnés. Les boites n’ etaient pas fermées d’origine. Il y a des traces de doigts sur les ampoules.Les etoiles sont pour le vendeur. Les ampoules elles sont bien.

Facili da installare, configurare e utilizzare, anche con google home. Ho dovuto sostituirne 1 perchè non si accendeva ma non ho avuto problemi per la sostituzione quindi ok!

Ho inserito i faretti in un sistema di illuminazione smart gestito da un hub Philips Hue. I faretti sono stati immediatamente riconosciuti dall’hub ed integrati alla perfezione. Il controllo avviene attraverso l’app specific di Philips Hue. Per quanto concerne gli aspetti più prettamente inerenti la qualità dei colori non ho molto da dire in quanto non ho faretti RGB di altre marche da confrontare. Ho preferito questi faretti a quelli Philips Hue in quanto meno costosi e al momento sono soddisfatto della scelta.
