Customers say
Customers find the stabilizer set sturdy and excellent, with plenty of adjustment possibilities and good value for money. The size works well, with one customer noting it’s suitable for 12-20 inch bikes, and another mentioning the 12mm and 13mm spanner worked perfectly. While some customers find it easy to fit, others report it doesn’t work with 14-inch bikes.

Fitted well, more adjustment than some
Fitted my boy’s bike much better than my first budget attempt. Strong with good range of adjustment, stable. You need to know your kids will be safe with these types of devices, so I am glad I spent a few more pounds on this one. Son has been happy with since fitted.

Strong and sturdy
They are really strong and sturdy but the wheel could have been more better but it’s ok for the price paid.

Excellent Stabilisers
Excellent, strong and easy to fit. Plenty of adjustment possible with multiple attachment holes. Our grandson was cycling confidently immediately.

Not universal
Says suitable for 12-20â bikes but theyâre too big for my sonâs 14â one (carrera thing from Halfords). Means if the ground is uneven the back wheel just spins. I canât bring the wheels up any further so Iâm not really sure what to do.They were easy enough to fit though. Youâll need two adjustable spanner things. The instructions arenât spectacular but itâs not rocket science.

Great item
Bought for my grandson and it has given him so much freedom to ride his bike. Easy to apply too. Great quality and price.

No good for 12in wheel bikes
These stabilisers have no chance of fitting a 12in bike. I had to drill new holes and they still donât fit properly. They shouldnât be advertised as suitable for 12in bikes. Despite poor information as to which size bikes these will fit they seem to be sturdy and well made so ok if you have a bigger bike that needs stabilisers.

Iâve never put stabilisers on before but these were easy enough
Instructions were fairly straightforward once I worked out what I was looking at! Iâve included pictures from the side in case that helps anyone like me :)Said I needed 2 adjustable spanners, but I didnât have any. A 12mm and 13mm spanner worked perfectly though, if you have any of those. Otherwise, I suggest investing.Easy enough to adjust for the size of the bike. In my case, this was the 14â Hornit Hero.

Does the job
It does the job but it’s fiddly to fix. Also needs protection against the frame as it can slip easily when fixing it on scraping the frame.Ignore the other review claiming that the wheels don’t lay flat on both sides. They’re not meant to as otherwise when riding the child doesn’t balance on the main wheel defeating the purpose of training wheels. Also if they were level on the ground it would make it difficult to make turns as you would get resistances across all the wheels.
