Great quality
Hello, recently purchased this mount to use with my iPad Air 2 2022 10.9inch. Itâs mega, really great quality and feels and looks very robust and sturdy.The purpose for buying this aluminium mount opposed to cheaper plastic ones was to ensure, I had confidence using my iPad on a tripod outside near water. The iPad is in a rugged case and fits perfectly into the mount.The additional benefit of this mount is I can attach my deeper sonar range extender aerial to it.Happily recommend this mount if youâre looking for quality on a budget.

Built well but turning the screws makes a loud grinding noise, which does not fill me with confidence that this can hold anything worth value in place. Sounds like it Is about to snap.

I bought a different mount only to find the grip depth was too shallow and it wouldnât hold my iPad Pro 13 inch with a case on. So I scoured every review and model and this mount seemed the most promising EXCEPT there was one review saying it wonât fit, and another review saying it will.I can confidently say it holds the iPad Pro 13 inch with an otterbox nice and firm HOWEVER the trick to get it to fit is you need to loosen it all the way AND then loosen the thumb screw on top. I assume the person who left the review saying it doesnât fit did not loosen the top thumb screw.

The other reviewers were right; this is a well-made, all-metal, sturdy mount capable of securely supporting my case-less 11″ iPad Pro, though I think it would accommodate plenty of other cases. The ball head worked well for maneuvering it around horizontally where I needed it; the cold shoe was useful because I could quickly switch back and forth with another accessory. I never worried my iPad would slip out. I noticed that the Mac app needed to run the bluetooth shutter remote accessory was no longer available and I could not download and use it. But my Apple Watch 6 has a built-in Bluetooth shutter remote which worked perfectly well instead. Not a problem. Overall, this is a well-made and designed adapter. Recommended.

Works fine – there is essential screw holes on bottom and three on the back. Just one flaw – little tightening nob to adjust fine pressure is rouded so you won’t have enough momentum to tighten it up securely.
