LOCK IN THE CONNECTOR BEFORE INSERTING THE WIRE
Put the connector inside the dies and squeeze the handles until you hear the first ratchet click. Now as the connector is securely fixed you can insert the wire and perform the strongest crimps
ADJUSTABLE COMPRESSION
You can set the perfect compression adjustment for your connectors by rotating the adjustable wheel. Remove the screw, rotate the wheel clockwise or counter-clockwise to add or reduce crimping force
QUICK RELEASE TRIGGER
The ratcheting mechanism completes crimps in full cycles. If you want to cancel the crimp and open the tool mid-cycle, slightly squeeze the handles and pull the quick release trigger in between them

Excellent set of a wire stripper and a clamping tool with 24 types of ferrules kit. The hexagon clamper is very easy to use and a very handy tool. I used it to fix my parking sensors’ bad wiring and made my life easier. Seems to be well made and it will last. A great solution for tidy wire end and the case that comes with it, it keeps everything nicely organized.The only downside in my opinion is that the wire stripper is not the best one out there as it doesn’t always cut the cable insulation and you might need to do it a couple of times. I had this issue with thin cables. However, it will do the job for simple wiring and small jobs.Overall it’s a nice set and comes with everything you need in one box. I would recommend it.
