Extremely quiet. I tried it on my phone and computer, cable is extremely quiet when connected to headphones. Returning for refund

Mic does not function and sound is intermittently cutting out on right side
I needed a slightly longer lead than my existing 1m one after moving my desktop around and this 2m braided one seemed good value. However, it arrived today and is not fit for purpose. The mic pole is either not wired up or is simply broken, as it does not register any sound at all. The speaker on the right side keeps cutting out unless the lead is held at a certain angle. I plugged my old lead back in and everything functions flawlessly, confirming the new lead is the culprit.I suggest buying a different lead elsewhere and save yourself the hassle.

Doesn’t work.
Unfortunately this cable doesn’t work. I bought it to ensure we were getting the best sound quality from our device but when plugged in no signal was received.I checked for continuity using my fluke meter but it highlighted the cable as faulty as first assumed.The cable looks good quality but this is a prime example of how looks can be deceiving.
