Interesting mouse alternative – love the zoom feature.
I bought this as a first experiment with mouse alternatives, after seeing it mentioned on a YouTube review of the top 10 touchpads to buy. I read a lot of reviews here and elsewhere before finally buying this when the price dropped by almost £5.Plugging it into Win 7 (64bit) it took just a few moments to install the driver automatically, before being able to use the pad. I still had my mouse connected, and could swap between them without any problems. The basic functions such as one finger tap to select, double tap to open, and two finger tap for right menu all worked easily. Moving the pointer around the screen was also fairly easy, although the pad is quite small so you need to lift your finger off and reposition it to get all the way across the screen. If you were using the pad all the time, instead of a mouse you could alter the settings in Control Panel/Mouse to speed up pointer scrolling. The ability to zoom in and out of pdf documents and photos, using two fingers, like you would with Android mobile phones and tablets is quite appealing and works well. The ability to scroll through pdf documents or up and down photos and webpages is a little bit more hit and miss. There is a scrolling area on the right of the pad and using two fingers in that area is supposed to allow scrolling, but I found it was a bit intermittent and often presented the right click menu or simply moved the pointer around. After a little experimenting I discovered that this is not a device that is improved by pressing harder – far from it – the lighter I pressed on the right-hand side of the pad the better the scrolling worked!Overall, I think this is an interesting and useful alternative to the traditional mouse, with a few extra features such as zooming, that could be handy for many people. I am not about to switch over to it permanently, but I will probably use it for photo browsing and possibly more, depending on how well I can master the light touch needed for scrolling.

Awful!
I really like using trackpads sometimes as I have hand and wrist pain. I wanted to stop using the one on my laptop so I could put the laptop on a stand instead.Cutting to the chase, this is almost unusable. Itâs borderline impossible to make fine adjustments with the mouse so aiming at specific targets, like links, is frustrating. If you move your finger up and down smoothly, the cursor will alternate between a fast and slow speed. Reminds me of late 90s touchpads on cheap laptops.Truly awful, unusable. Glad I tested it within the 30 day return window.

Acceptable, but can’t be configured
Lightweight, and I like the large surface area. Glad I didn’t choose a smaller version.Works OK for security camera system, which is what I want it for. But the two buttons don’t work on Linux desktop (Ubuntu). The pointer moves quite fast for little movement on the trackpad. The movement seems to be linear rather than exponential, which would make it tricky to use for any fine adjustment. I can’t see how that could be configured differently unless it had bespoke driver software.

Small, convenient.
A neat little trackpad. It’s sensitive and a pleasure to use. I have used an ergonomic mouse for years, as I have some trouble with arthritis in my fingers. This trackpad has relieved my fingers of notable pain and discomfort. Please note that I use a track ball with my left hand, so they can work in conjunction.

Excellent peripheral
Works perfectly with Windows & Linux out of the box. DO FORGET TO TURN IT ON.

OK product but could be better
Good stuff: It is of a decent size, I like the form-factor, and the buttons have a nice clicky feel and are about right in terms of force required; not too much, not too little. It has a little space on the underside for storing the little USB dongle.Annoying stuff: The trackpad area is a little rough, feels strange after using laptops with an ultra-smooth surface. The power on/off switch is very small and feels cheap, it may not last very long, I have no idea. It uses AAA batteries, when the unit looks large enough to have accomodated AA size batteries almost. The foam pads underneath the unit look very small, can’t see them lasting very long. Also, I think the screws to open the unit to service it (e.g. if the power switch fails) are underneath the foam pads which is irritating. Double-finger scrolling is supported, but the direction isn’t configurable. If you drag down with two fingers, then the text on the page scrolls up, i.e. the opposite to what would happen if you drag down on a touch display. This may be configurable in the PC operating system, but I would have liked to see it configurable on the device, because you don’t have access to OS configuration settings on every computer you may wish to use this on. There is no LED to let you know when the device is powered on. I would add my own, but the screws are under the foam pads.Nice-to-haves: It would be nice to see different color options, not everyone will want an all-black trackpad device. It would be nice if it came with a cloth case, to make it more practical to place in a laptop bag for portable use.

Get a Mouse!!
I bought this when my laptop trackpad became faulty. An old laptop, that I just needed to use until I could replace which I now have. Honestly, it was not great. I replace it with a wireless mouse which was much better. It was not great to use, would move and the wire would annoy me. A bit of a waste of money for me.

Its easier to move a finger than a mouse……..
Easy to install , up and running on Windows 10 in no time. Robust item that is a great replacement for the mouse. I have used this with some games as well and I find it quick and responsive……a good price as well.

Nosotros lo hemos comprado para una máquina industrial por el tema del polvo. De momento funciona bastante bien.

Mindere responsiviteit. Rammelt ook iets binnenin. Voor de rest doet wat het hoort te doen

As a software developer, clicking and typing are the only ways to keep me well fed, but at the cost of a sore wrist. With this, I can type as if on a laptop, positioning the mouse right below my keyboard, eliminating most of the stress exerted on my wrist. A really solid product and I’d recommend it.

Its a touchpad and works well – no problems at all. Connnected easily and works across the room (on computer attached to TV) Allows us both to control the computer! One with the mouse and the other with the track pad.
