    Great screen for the price
Nice crisp 4k image and the included stand has a hole in the base, perfect for routing cables up.

    Good value for money
The monitor is well presented and looks good on the desk. It has thin bezels and settings can be controlled easily via a mini “joystick” on the back. Display quality, for me, was WAY too bright and oversaturated. I use the monitor for my hobby (trading, at night) so no games, videos etc. I solved the problem with the popular display app “Lunar” (the monitor supports DDC/CI) because lowering contrast via settings only didn’t cut it. I suppose most people (videogamers, tv watchers etc.) will enjoy the high contrast.I wanted to run the monitor at 60Hz so I purchased an USB-C to DP cable separately (the monitor comes with a HDMI cable which does not allow 60Hz). I would give 5 stars but there are some issues: first the OSD is at native resolution so it’s TINY. It has dozens of settings, they could have added a magnifying option. Second (not that I care) the sound from the internal speakers is dreadful. Third thing I did not like is having to screw the stand via 4 short Philips screws, holding all the weight, I would have expected at least some slots or a more elegant solution. Another minor thing is that I tend to keep my clutter under the display but this one has a square base which makes it annoying. The stand is also a bit wobbly and even though tilt and vertical position can be adjusted, it does not swing left/right.Connected to my Mac Mini M2 the monitor booted up to the resolution I wanted (1,920×1,080 scaled from 4k) which makes the text sharp and very readable even though the PPI is not optimal (81 PPI vs 110/120 as recommended by Apple). But compared to my old 1,920×1,080 monitor the difference is still outstanding (see comparison in the pictures).I normally do not buy computer equipment from Philips but the first impression is quite good, let’s see how long it lasts.

Un excellent rapport qualité/prix pour ce très bel écran que j’utilise personnellement avec un Mac Mini M4. La définition (4k) est très bonne et je trouve que le rendu des couleurs est vraiment excellent.

Very nice for the money. However, one can see a bit of discoloration close to the edges at a white background standing ~60-70cm away from it. Possibly an insufficient viewing angle issue present at a cheap IPS panel (that’s why it is 4/5). You do not notice it however after a day’s use. The rest of the colors however seem very vivid, I really like them.IMO, better get a cheap IPS panel at 4K than a better panel at 1080p or 1440p. So, I would recommend that. I even use it at 30Hz because my old computer cannot do more and I saw an big increase on my productivity just because of the 4K res which allows for more content on the screen.
