Great little printer
This little printer is great. The print is clear and dark and the quality is great, perfect for printing labels and hard copies of tickets etc. I do not need it to print documents, but I’m sure this machine would be great for that too. The most impressive thing about this printer for me is how easy it is to set up, use and pack away again. You could easily carry it in your bag for those short notice moments when you just need a hard copy of something, not to mention you don’t need to keep buying expensive ink cartridges, it just works! If you are in the market for a small and user friendly thermal printer, buy this one with confidence.

Compact and ideal for travelling or printing on the go
This thermal printer comes well packaged, with a roll of thermal paper, quick start guide, soft velvety carry pouch and a short (0.8m) USB A-C lead. After removing the protective paper (from the print head), I was able to print a small test page, but realised that it didnât have any charge, so charged it before connecting it to my phone via Bluetooth.Once connected, I downloaded the Phomemo app, to my phone, which allowed me to print black and white documents. This seemed to work okay, but it has many more features than Iâd need and it doesnât appear to be possible to print from your phone without downloading the app and then âuploadingâ your document to the app. I feel this is a slight limitation and was suspicious of where my document might have been going, so decided to turn off WiFi and mobile data. The document still âuploadedâ okay, but this seemed like an unnecessary step. Surely it should be possible to connect via Bluetooth and print straight from my phone? I also connected the printer to my laptop, using the suppled USB lead and it installed automatically, allowing me to print directly, with ease. The printer is very compact, measuring approximately 10â x 3â x 2â, so would be easy to travel with. The print speed is a little slow, at about 1 page in 20 seconds, but itâs definitely ideal for printing documents on the go. The power button glows when the printer is on, but appears to be touch sensitive, personally, Iâd rather have a physical button. I did initially think this was to prevent it from powering on accidently, but it appears to power on when touched through the carrying pouch.I printed a couple of documents with both colours and also black/greyscale text. Black text is clear even with relatively small print, but it struggled to get high definition on the grey text. I also noticed that printouts curl up (due to them being printed from a roll). That being said, it appears to also be able to take single sheet thermal paper, making it ideal for use on the road.

Really easy to use and setup
Really easy to use and there was no setup on my laptop. It comes with a soft velvety bag. There is an app which I used from my phone. Prints quickly. I would recommend staying near it when printing so you can tear each page otherwise it’ll be on a roll.

Does what it says
Bought it for my kids school project. It came in handy and was easy to set up and use. Plus point is there is no need of printer ink. Its a great product. Works well.

Does what it says and more
If you are looking for an A4 printer that doesn’t require ink, this is it. It’s not very fast but if you want high definition it’s a small sacrifice. The best feature is that it’s portable and even comes with a carrier bag for your printer and cables.Easy paper exchange and supports different formats. Also small and beautiful.

Super compact thermal printer
Well, as things stand, I seem to be falling in love with this absurdly small printer. I want to print boring documents for my accounts while I’m away from home. I don’t want to take the big ink printer I have with me, so I’ve splurged on this mini-beast of an invention. It’s slightly bigger than my hair straighteners. It comes with a case and two leads and a roll of thermal paper.I’m old enough to remember the excitement of fax machines. This works on a similar principle in terms of outcome. I don’t have to buy ink that’s more expensive than gold. I am a very happy bunny. The quick set up guide was a little sparse as far as instructions go, so I seem to have inadvertently added printing software onto the mobile phones before I tracked down the driver for my PC but other than that, I do believe I have found something that fits the bill. In the event of anything bad happening, I’ll let you know. As things are, I believe this is money well spent.

Decent
Small, easy. I have to unplug and reply in sometimes for it to respond but that is probably user error. Only black and white but print is clear enough.
