Typically good quality heavy gauge paper, which is great for photos, HOWEVER, this stuff is so heavy that my printer had trouble accepting it. I got around this by feeding one sheet in at a time. I would recommend a lighter stock less than 200 gsm if you want to make multiple copies. Never the less, this is very good value and the results look great.

Much, much better than expected.
I sell prints from certain outlets without a website as yet, so printing is really important to me. I try to print my smaller (A4) images myself either with my printer or in the darkroom, and even though I only have a Canon PIXMA mg7550 I am very fussy about what standards I produce. I usually use propriety papers for my “standard” (non exhibition) prints, but I usually use cheaper papers going through the test print stages. It is for this latter use that I bought this batch but as I’d read one of the reviews concerning PIXMA printers I decided to print an image taken with Ilford HP5 plus and developed using Rodinal with an extra 30 seconds for the really strong contrast. This meant the blacks were extremely dark and would be a challenge for any inkjet printer and paper. Suffice to say it came out perfect, in fact there is an obvious difference between this paper and Canon’s own, this being the better. I’ve also printed colour and the colours are beautifully rich much more in line with my calibrated monitor. So far I’ve only printed from my iMac and I haven’t used my windows laptop, and as the difference between the two is the stuff of legends I can only give this review in respect of the PIXMA range of printers with the Mac operating systems. I also use Ghiant Inkjet Fix to protect all my images from smudging due to moisture and children’s fingers and protects from fading caused UV rays. I think those who have struggled with this paper may have only changed the paper in the printer’s settings and not changed them in the print settings. For Mac systems click on ‘Preview’, you should then get a drop down menu, click on ‘Quality and Media’ and change your paper to Glossy there as well as in the printer. I hope this helps.

Le produit est arrivé en parfait état et la livraison a été super rapide. J’ai été agréablement surprise par la qualité du papier, il est vraiment brillant et les couleurs ressortent magnifiquement. En plus, il est facile à manipuler. Franchement, je le recommande à tous ceux qui cherchent un papier photo de qualité. C’est vraiment top et ça vaut vraiment le coup.

Un papier photo de très bonne qualité, et je n’ai aucune bavure avec mes cartouches achetées à un prix défiant toutes concurrences chez Amazon.
