Good quality lead works fine.

Braided cable at fantastic value
I have used this on a brother printer/scanner, directly to three separate test setups – a USB hub on my work laptop – worked fine, was able to print effectively and quickly. Directly to the laptop – also fine, as expected. Directly to USB port on motherboard of a PC – also worked as expected, printer can print effectively and scanned documents get onto system just fine. Laptop is on Windows 10 and PC is on Windows 11, but I suspect the printer cable is not limited by your OS, this will print from anything as long as your printer and system support each other! Cable itself is very impressive quality for value at this offering, it’s braided and in fact it’s my first time having a braided printer cable but it makes sense, they are more durable and they have more give so they’re not in the way, easy to keep tidy. Happy with this printer cable and it’s a good length too.

A Bargain for a Braided Printer Cable
I ordered this because I needed a slightly longer cable for my printer and I like braided cables because they look better and don’t tangle so easily. With this being so cheap I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s good. The connectors seem to be aluminium, but I can’t be certain, either way, they look good. The cable’s stiffer than some braided cables, but it feels robust, and the connectors are firmly attached. In use it’s been reliable, UBS 2.0 is fine for printers. It looks good, and at this price, I have no complaints – excellent value.

Also a good data cable for a hard drive docking module
This printer/scanner cable comes in a 11cm x 9.5cm polythene zip bag. The weight of the USB cable is 56g and it is approximately 2m long. Although recommended by the manufacturer as a printer cable, I have tried it as a data cable to my hard drive docking port and it works just fine, though of course a shorter cable is often better for faster transfer rates. The blue plastic inside the connectors might infer its actually USB 3. I get data transfer write rates to my external hard drive of 30Mbits/s. The price of the cable is very cost effective and it has a nice braided design.

Perfect cable for workhorses
We’ve mostly moved to USB C now, but I’ve got a handful of devices that just keep on working and are from an older time, using the old square USB B plugs. My 15 year old laser printer and a scanner over 20 years old are two examples. It also gets used with some more recent MIDI devices (I think because the chunkier connector is more forgiving when moving things around a lot), so I’ve got a handful of things all using ugly old PVC-cased USB cables.Well, one less now! This is an upgrade to a nylon braided cable for one of my devices (I’ll let them fight over which one gets it). Nicely made, good plugs, good strain relief – can’t fault it. And it’s cheap enough for me to get a couple out of my own pocket soon, so whatever loses out this time won’t have to wait long for its own.

Works exactly as youâd expect.
I somehow managed to lose my printer cable so ordered this one as a replacement and it works perfectly and as expected.I use a MacBook Pro connected to a Thunderbolt dock that has both USB A and USB C ports on it. So I connect to my printer via the dock using this USB A to B cable. The cable feels robust and thereâs nothing to give me any concerns about the cableâs build quality.

Good build quality but not USB 3.0
I’ll be frank, I got this specifically to replace an old USB 2.0 cable of mine and didn’t read the title carefully enough. Having said that, USB plastic colouring is fairly standard and blue represents 3.0, so I am unsure why this cable would use that colour even though it is only 2.0 (2.0 is represented with black).USB spec aside, this is a very well built cable, with braiding and quality connectors so I would expect this cable to last a long time. If you are not bothered by the cable not following the colour spec and need only a 2.0 cable, I think this is a decent choice for a very approachable price.

works as required.
Works perfectly with a usb only laser printer. Worked every time I tried, Brother Mono laser printer has only a single usb port on the back, so I needed it quite a bit. No issues with it what so ever, always works and wakes up from sleep. The cable is thick and has a rigid end so its difficult to bend around the back. Not much else to say about the cable it works, and it is just what I needed,
