~ Previous Experience with Redragon M901After my previous experience with the Redragon M901, it was clear that I would buy another Redragon after an unfortunate accident led to it being submerged in my tea.~ Design and ErgonomicsAt first glance, the Redragon M990 appears longer, but the difference is just 6mm (from 118mm to 124mm). Despite this, it remains comfortable even for those with smaller hands, including ladies. Its ergonomic design makes it more hand-friendly.~ Weight and CustomizationFor those who might initially find it heavy, I want to highlight the large circular, openable cover at the bottom of the mouse, which houses eight 2.4g weights. You can freely remove as many as you feel comfortable with to achieve your preferred weight.~ DPI and PerformanceWith a DPI range of 100 to 32,000, combined with the perfect weighting, it is ideal for any game. The manufacturer’s website also offers downloadable software to customize the lighting, and customizable DPI settings, suitable even for games that require high precision, as well as other options to your liking.~ Overall ImpressionIn terms of price and quality, it perfectly outperforms any more expensive mouse.

Not a massive fan of the ergonomics or feel of the mouse. It is quite heavy, which is understandable considering all the buttons, but I have also used other 12 button mice which were more light and comfortable to use compared to this. The RGB is beautiful if you’re into that, the build quality is also clearly of a high standard. There are no front and back buttons on the mice by default, so if you’re coming from a mouse with them you will have to adjust or use the software bind them yourself. The 12 buttons themselves are laid out quite well and it is easy to hit all of them, can feel awkward at first but easy to get used to. A great mouse for lots of genres such as RTS & MMO, but would definitely avoid for something like FPS, just too heavy and clunky for it.

Review after 5 years (now 7 years) – My trusted companion
TLDR – It lasted 5 years and did a good job. Could’ve lasted longer if I’d have looked after it betterReceived this as a gift in Xmas 2018. I actually haven’t used it at all for gaming but instead for my work; programming the keys for all sorts such and copy, paste, save, refresh etc. and for what I’ve needed it’s been a great servant. The odd sticky side key occurred in the last year or two where I had to press a little harder but thats no big deal.After COVID, I starting taking it to and from work whether I’m in the office or at home. Unfortunately this probably caused undue stress to the cabling over time and now it’s developed a fault so it’ll likely need replacing.Perhaps it’s odd to be sentimental about a mouse but this one’s seen me through thick and thin, we’ve faced chaotic lava flows of work at times and this little thing has put up with my demands as we’ve battled through escalations and fixed issues at lightning speed. Thankyou for your service old friend.Update November 2025: 2 years on from when I thought it was gone….it still lives!!I’ve made sure to keep the cabling loose when taking it to and from work and it’s continued to go strong. Almost at 7 years now and looking back, this thing must’ve saved me so much time. A symbiotic relationship between man and mouse. Hopefully I’ll update this review again one day. See you then!

A heavy mouse, solid build but squeeky left button
Ive had a number of red dragon mice and been impressed by them all. I love the multi buttons on the side and they fit comfortably in my largish hands. This mouse is heavier than my previous out of the box, but you can remove some weights that live under the mouse to lighten it up to your taste. There is a constant squeek on my model that is just too annoying and noisey to keep, so ill be returning it.Ive had about 5 other red dragon mice and never had any issues whatsoever.I beleive i probably just got unlocky, and would still purchase another Red Dragon mouse in the future

The rest of the mouse is fine and the software is decent but the mouse wheel is buggy. When scrolled, it sometimes scrolls back in the opposite direction you want, inconsistently.

Per anni ho usato la versione di un altra marca con il classico tastino laterale da 12 pulsanti. Dopo essermi abituato ad usarlo, spesso mi sono ritrovato a pensare che sarebbe stato perfetto se avessi avuto ancora qualche pulsante a disposizione e ovviamente, appena ho visto questo modello di red dragon, l’ho ordinato subito.Esperienza: ormai sono circa 3 settimane che lo uso. Inizialmente mi ero trovato un po’ in difficoltà in quanto il pollice doveva ancora abituarsi al nuovo layout. Forse si perde qualche istante di velocità nel schiacciare il pulsantino giusto in quanto il pulsante sulla fila centrale non è più uno solo. Io per ora parto sempre da uno dei 2 bordi e mi sposto di 1 in su o in giù a seconda di cosa mi serve; è per questo che dicevo che si perde un minimo di tempo in più. Il tempo che si perde però, lo si guadagna con il fatto che ora si riescono ad eseguire ancora più operazioni senza dover “scomodare” la mano sinistra.Qualità dei materiali:- la parte sotto del mouse è molto robusta, ben definita e sembra di altissima qualità – la plastica sopra del mouse per quanto mi riguarda mi sembra molto buona e ben strutturata- i pulsanti sopra sono ok; forse un po’ plasticoso il pulsante in alto a sinistra però si schiaccia bene e funziona bene- il tastierino laterale balla molto quindi non da un senso di altissima qualità però, di nuovo, alla fine i tasti si schiacciano bene e funzionano correttamentePro:- è il mouse con più tasti che ho trovato- il prezzo molto contenuto considerando la sua unicità Contro:- bisogna abituarsi a gestire ancora più tastiConclusione: Se volete usarlo per gli mmorpg, forse vi conviene la versione con 12 tasti in quanto i tempi per trovare i tasti sono più brevi. Se lo usate per lavorare al pc, consiglio questo. Magari non li userete tutti i tasti però, invece di pagare 80+ euro un mouse con 5 tasti di una marca famosa, pagate molto meno questo e se un giorno vi sentirete pronti, avrete a disposizione tasti praticamente ovunque sul mouse da configurare.

Die Redragon M990 Maus ist nach kurzer Zeit gut verpackt angekommen. Das Gewicht ist im Gehäuse unterhalb der Maus, das von einem abnehmbaren, runden Deckel verschlossen ist. Redragon verzichtet auf eine DVD/CD mit der Software. Stattdessen kann man sie auf der Herstellerseite runterladen und installieren.Mit dem Programm kann man die LED-Beleuchtung je nach Geschmack abändern, die DPI der Mausabtastung (erkennbar an der Schnelligkeit und Genauigkeit des Mauszeigers) frei einstellen und die 22 Tasten oben und seitlich auf der Maus frei programmieren. Auch Makros (Fester Ablauf von Aktionen und Funktionen) kann man erstellen. Fünf Profile á 5 Modi kann man belegen, damit kann man für 25 unterschiedliche Einsatzzwecke die entsprechenden Funktionen und auch die Beleuchtung der Maus erstellen. Das Programm läuft seit dem ersten Tag zuverlässig und ohne Probleme.Zwei kleine Haken gibt es aber bei dieser Redragon Maus. Zum Einen vermisse ich eine Daumenablage unten seitlich, zum Anderen kann man bei der Software nur zwischen Englisch und Chinesisch wählen. Für Jene, die sich in Englisch hart tun, ist das ein wenig mühselig. Trotzdem vergebe ich wegen der Qualität und des Funktionsumfangs der Maus gerne fünf Sterne.Fauit: Trotz zweier minimaler Haken ist mein Jammern von sehr hohem Niveau, weil man als Gamer (oder alsGaming-Anfänger) beim Kauf dieser Maus nichts falsch machen kann. Daas heiÃt, ich kann die Mausärmstens empfehlen.

Les boutons du dessus de la souris sont très sensibles, les 16 touches sur le côté ne sont pas assez différenciables avec le pouce mais pour le prix c’est une excellente souris, très agréable, très fonctionnelle, aucun regret !
