So good I’m blown away.
I love how easy these were to set up. My girlfriend recently had a well known brand of wired cameras installed so I’m going to add some comparisons.I set these up and installed each camera where I wanted them in less than ten minutes per camera. I’ve got them running from solar panels too.Her system needed an electrician and has a pc monitor plugged in too. This Reolink system is all on my phone with SD card as backup storage and in the cloud too.They work if there is no network and record to the SD card. I checked it does this so I’m happy if I have a power outage or network blip that I’m still secure. Her system will stop working in the event or a power failure as her base unit is mains powered.This was a big consideration for me and pretty much swayed me to Reolink on it’s own.I’ve a mix of Reolink camera types and can honestly say the imagery is good on them all.In the dark, I can see my black dogs better via camera than with my naked eyes as I currently don’t have an outdoor light where they go. I recommend Reolink to anyone needing a quality and value security camera system. It cost no more than the missus’s wired system, less when I’ve factored in fitting costs.I’ve had no drawbacks with Reolink. It connects quickly and to be honest I use this now as it responds faster than my Ring doorbell which I describe as my hindsight doorbell. People have usually gone before I get pinged on my phone from the Ring setup. Ok visitors can’t press a button to alert me on the camera, but the alerts are way faster and I can speak to them from this camera covering my door. Impressive stuff really.I did contact customer service for a bit of guidance and they responded quickly and resolved my issue. They even followed up later to check all was good. I’ve already bought more cameras so I can check my dogs when I’m out. They take 2 minutes to set up as I’ve left them freestanding.

DO NOT BUY – KEEPS DISCONNECTING AND NOT CHARGING
Please avoid this product. I have had them now for over 2 years and the camera keep disconnecting from WIFI (only 3m away from the router) so each time to reconnect them I have to call a handy man to go on the ladder and dismantle them to reconnect again to the application and there is no other way around this. In addition the solar panels are utter rubbish. One does not charge at all and one was also playing up so the manufacturer replaced it with a bigger solar panel. This is not working great either. As a female this is a total headache to manage and I would avoid these. After constant emails to the support team over the last 2 years I finally got fed up and asked for a refund whoch they have not accepted. I can as well bin them. DO NOT BUY

Always buy Reolink, fantastic camera and service
I bought two of these with solar panels then later a 3rd all in 2020. I have loved them ever since. The back garden ones need manual charging every couple of weeks in winter but thatâs because it gets zero sunshine and the days are short. Add that to the massive wildlife activity that it captures every night thatâs to be expected and they stay charged via solar panel from spring to late autumn so thatâs not a problem. The one out of the front never needs manual charging because even in winter itâs a sun trap out there.The app is easy to use and easy to capture and save any parts you want, itâs very clear day and night too.Alexa show can connect with them via a Reolink skill and can show me any camera at any time too. You can also set recording schedules for different days of the week.Whatâs made me decide to only ever use Reolink for any future camera purchases is their outstanding customer service going above and beyond. 2020 I bought these 3 and now in 2022 one has a hardware issue, I contacted them for online support to fix it and they have decided to replace it for me. That was so unexpected as Iâd decided if it couldnât be fixed Iâd buy another so 110% service from this company because at this value price I didnât in a million years expect them to replace it after 2 years of use. I completely recommend these cameras anyway but will definitely look at this company first for any future camera purchases and advise anybody else to do the same.

Look & feel like a quality product but with issues
They have a robust feel to them & Ive managed to connect one fairly easily to my phone ( havent tried the PC software yet ) image quality is Ok ( 1080 HD not 4K ) but cant see any exposure settings . My biggest gripe is that I cant adjust camera to the angle I want BECAUSE THE FREAKING AERIAL GETS IN THE WAY!!! Unless I want all my images to be at a whacky angle ! Also when you first start up the camera has irritating multi language voices in a repetitive loop which you cant shut off unless you switch the camera off! Will update review once I have used them for a while .

CCTV system without the cables.
I have a dvr and cameras at home. A friend asked if I could fit a system for him wasn’t too keen as I know a lot of cable work to be carried out power and signal although you can use shotgun cable to save work. Anyway came across these and wasn’t too sure. Anyway took a gamble and went for it. These were easy to fit for the basic diyer. Drill, screwdrivers etc. Fit the brackets for camera and solar panel to the wall or can go on fence, tree etc. You program the camera which is easy if you follow instructions before attaching to the bracket. You position these whilst viewing your phone. My friends router is at the rear so the camera at rear worked great. The front struggled a bit. We plugged a wifi booster in near the front door and it worked perfect proving you do need good wifi. You can view these on your phone away from your property using wifi or phone data. The camera sends notifications to your mobile if you wish which means you can communicate with people as it is fitted with a speaker and mic. These only record motion and you have to order a sd card to store images instead of having a recorder and cables in the house. My friend is over the moon with this. It’s only been in a week but up to now all seems well.UPDATE: 3 months later still working great.

Wir haben in erster Linie eine Kamera ohne Kabelverlegung für den AuÃenbereich gesucht und sind mit diesem Modell fündig geworden.Da die Kamera eine Solarzelle als Energieversorgung mitbringt, sollten lästige Batteriewechsel oder Kabelverlegungen nicht nötig sein. Wer möchte, kann sie auch direkt am Netzteil betreiben.Bisher funktionieren beide Kameras tadellos.Eine betreiben wir dauerhaft am Netzteil und eine weitere per Solarzelle.Selbst bei vielen Zugriffen per App und sehr vielen Auslösungen mit Aufzeichnung von 30sec., zeigt die Kamera noch immer einen vollen Akku an.Man darf gespannt sein, wie es sich im dunklen Winter verhält, aber bisher gibt es hier wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Da hat sich offensichtlich mal ein Ingenieurskollege hin gesetzt und ein wenig (richtig) gerechnet.Ansonsten machen die Kameras ein super Bild und auch die Tonaufnahmen sind wirklich brauchbar.Sehr gut ist die Möglichkeit, dass man bis zu 3 Bereiche definieren kann, welche nicht mit aufgezeichnet werden. Wichtig und richtig für z.B. Nachbarn oder den öffentlichen Bereich, welcher nicht mit gefilmt werden soll und darf.Da ich beruflich mit Sicherheitstechnik zu tun habe, habe ich den direkten Vergleich z.B. zu einer AXIS P1378-LE. Solche Bilder sollte man selbstverständlich nicht erwarten, dafür kostet die Axis aber auch fast 10x soviel.Für eine Ãberwachung z.B. für Haustiere oder um einfach einmal zu sehen, was so im Garten los ist, wenn man nicht anwesend ist, ist die Reolink jedoch super.Die Nachtsichtfunktion klappt auf ca. 10m Entfernung auch sehr gut, man kann sogar Gesichter gut und eindeutig erkennen.Lediglich ab 10m Entfernung wird es dann schnell ungenau.Aber auch hier sollte man immer daran denken, in welchem Preissegment man sich hier bewegt und keine Bilder wie auf einem OLED-TV erwarten.Wir sind mit dem Kauf sehr zufrieden und werden uns für die anderen Grundstücksseiten auch noch 2 Kameras bestellen.Gerade der Zugriff und die Alarmfunktion per App sind super und vermitteln einem ein sicheres Gefühl.Auf jeden Fall ein tolles Technik-Gadget und jeden Cent wert.

Sedert meer dan één jaar deze in gebruik nadat we eerder al 2 camera’s hadden van Reolink, nog steeds zeer tevreden. Nu was er één klein probleem met één camera die geen opname meer deed. Binnen garantie, via Amazon, contact gehad met Reolink. Op één dag respons via deze manier is het probleem verholpen. Upgrade ontvangen en probleem was verholpen.
