Absolutely brilliant
This item is absolutely brilliant and so easy to use.I was a first-time installer of Ethernet cables around our new house. I had single-port sockets for the bedrooms and one of these in a cupboard on the first-floor landing.It seemed well made. The only thing I would possibly say negatively is that it would be better with a back box. But I suppose it depends on what depth back box you need.If I needed another I would buy this one again

Decent quality, fairly easy to install Cat6 with a punchdown tool
Fitted to Cat6 solid core 23AWG cable and had no issues, it’s a bit of a fiddle making it all neat and tidy to push back into the back box (sold separately, or use any standard UK backbox that’s 26mm deep or more).

Easy to use and punch down tool did a good job, the colour chart is easy to follow the the âbâ standard of connectivity. The modules are not secured that well, when I used a normal level of force to connect the end of the cable in it pushed the module back into the plate which caused all the others to move out of place, took a while to realign them again but good value at current price point. Good speed and no issues so far

Good quality but DO look at the wiring diagram inside!!
Great product and did the job. There are no additional instructions but there is a minute pin connection diagram behind the wires. I couldn’t read this so I looked up the wiring connections on the Internet. Wrong! The wiring diagrams I found on the web are different to the way these pins are connected which resulted in a lot of diagnostics and head-scratching when the port didn’t work. Once I got the magnifying glass out and inspected the diagram all was made clear and the port worked perfectly. I echo the comments about the face-plate nibs – as it happens my back-plate was thin and the nibs fitted but if they don’t fit you will have to file them off so do that before you wire up not afterwards!

Decent Finish, But Not Built for Heavier Cabling
Initially, the 4-gang RJ45 socket felt like decent quality â solid faceplate and a clean finish. I used CAT7 cabling for my install, and perhaps thatâs where I went wrong. One of the RJ45 modules fell apart while I was punching down the cable pairs, which was disappointing. The other three were fine and have held up so far.To be fair, the product is only rated up to CAT6, so I canât be too harsh â but I expected a bit more durability, even with thicker cable. If youâre using standard CAT5e or CAT6, youâll probably be fine, but not ideal for anything above that.

Cat 6 faceplate
Reasonably priced unit. Each of the 4 modules can be unclipped and removed to help with wiring. Both A and B wiring info is printed beside each connection although a bit small for my eyesight. Has some very small stand off ‘lugs’ on the back, don’t know what they were for, but I cut off as I was fitting to a trunking back box. Nice hinged clear plastic for the label, saves loosing it on the floor. includes the fixing screws.Functions perfectly

Les prises Rhino semblent me convenir, par contre l’outil pour faire le raccordement leur est propre. Ceux dont je dispose ne sont pas compatible. Il serait bien que le fournisseur de ces prises indique le modèle d’outil qu’il faut acheter. Je viens d’acheter l’outil spécifique pour raccorder les prises.Il s’avère que au testeur la connexion n’est pas bonne.

Ottima soluzione per creare 4 prese ethernet a filo muro, molto comoda per impianti di video sorveglianza, permettono unâinstallazione molto ordinata e pulitaAnche i collegamenti dei cavi è semplice e indicata in base al tipo di connessione A o B con comoda tabellina con riferimento ai colori dei fili da fissare per ogni singolo morsettinoPeró le dimensioni non sono le classiche delle cassette frutto a muro ma è più larga quindi è necessario praticare due fori con tasselli per fissare a muro la placca
