Great addition to the camera.
Originally had just the camera but this was difficult to get a good view using by itself as couldnt direct the view down enough. Bought the motorised tilt adaptor and am impressed as it brings the camera away from the wall allowing it to be directed at a sharper angle. Would recommend.

Works a treat
Brought these are part of the outdoor stick up camera. The mount that comes with the camera doesn’t allow me to adjust the angle to where i want the camera view. However, with these, it allows me to angle the camera to where i want with the added bonus of being able to pan and tilt.

The Bigger Picture
Brilliant piece of kit to add to the appropriate camera. Easy to fit and works quietly and well. Apparently the dedicated pan/tilt camera has more functions if you need them but I think it is only for internal use, whereas this can be used externally. Power extension leads/units are available online if youâre not already using your camera on one. If you are then you just move the barrel plug into the motor to power it up with the camera.

Easy to set up. Integrates easily with my existing Ring system. Adds extra functionality to home security. Links with a Ring doorbell so that one can trigger the other to get better coverage. Easy to install and setup. Quality product. Great image.

Decent PTZ but with a huge disadvantage
The PTZ function is decent, not great at fine movements only fairly gross ones but good enough in general. It does however have two main disadvantages, the biggest of these is not likely to get fixed in that the device uses the cameras battery port so it means you cannot have a backup battery installed any more. The second may be resolved eventually, the PTZ functions do not work on the website only the mobile app.
