Add an extra layer of privacy to your Indoor Cam (sold separately) with an easy-to-attach lens cover and 1.9-metre power adaptor with an on/off switch.
Slide the cover sideways over the camera lens to close it when you’re home and open when you want to see what’s happening.
Use the additional on/off power switch for added convenience so you can easily turn your camera on or off.
The Indoor Cam cover only blocks the camera view, the Two-Way Talk feature and microphone will continue working.

Excellent tool. Completes the ring indoor camera
This is a well made peripheral for the ring indoor camera whose two key characteristics are good enhancing points. The first characteristic: the privacy cover for the camera lens, is of robust quality and straightforward to use. It slides over the lens area easily and covers it fully. The second characteristic is a power plug with an in line on/off power switch for the camera. This adds a convenient element of privacy for the camera whereby if desired the camera can be powered off at the flick of the switch. A worthwhile purchase that I’m satisfied with.

Great camera privacy cover
A good idea!!! Very easy to fix. I found that you donât need the screw attachment to be tight otherwise the cover becomes stiff when sliding across. In addition having the ability to switch the camera on and off for total audio/video privacy with the plug in switch attachment is awesome. 𤩠Thanks ð

Great addition to the Ring security system
This kit gives you two critical advantages over privacy that the original camera doesnât provide.1) it gives you a plastic cover that you can flick across to stop the camera picking up motion and also recording video.2) provides a on/off button inline with the power lead so that you can just switch off the camera in the daytime if you want.Iâm going at some point Rong update their app and enable a camera schedule so you can switch the camera off in the day time for instance and only capture video at night time.. At the moment this app functionality doesnât exist.

It is pretty simple to fit. Undo screw, add slide, put screw back in. Then use the power cable with the on/off switch. This is pretty good – you get the double safety of power off and the lens cover if you forget to turn the power off. The idea is good but the lens cover does not slide easily. In my view it should be a one hand task to gently slide it over without disturbing the camera. This is not the case – it is stiff enough that you need 2 hands one to pick up and hold the camera body and the other to click the lens cover across. This causes you to move the camera and then be unsure if it is still pointing in the right direction.Not recommended.
