Brilliant……works a treat
Was a bit dubious that this would work with my setup as I have a pc in the kids room upstairs and the main pc in a downstairs room.Main pc has always been connected from the router directly into the pc so I connected this splitter to the router cable with a short cat cable coming out of it directly into the pc and then a long cat extension cable coming out of splitter directly to the pc in the upstairs room.I plugged the usb from the splitter into usb socket located by downstairs pc.Bingo!……….brilliant…worked at 1st attempt with hardly any noticeable loss of broadband speed to either computer………Highly recommended……..but dont forget that the usb part has to be plugged into power.

Easy to use, simply to install and value for money
I bought this to share a single ethernet calbe between my TV and an Amazon 4K firestickas I only had a single source. The main benefit of this device is that it is a true splitter in that you can connect two completely separate devices to a single RJ45 (ethernet) cable – ideal if you only have one cable and wish to connect a games console and a TV to the same place. I have this connected to a home plug so this configuration also works and causes no issue. Please bear in mind that it is powered so needs a USB connection to provide the power to the device for it to operate.I have had no issues at all and not found a problem regarding speed – it is capable of delivering 4K broadcast or streamed signals with no buffering.

Now I can connect all my devices
If like me you rely on the internet for pretty much everything I needed something to connect to my TV and other devices. This splitter works flawlessly. Ok you have to flip a switch to select the device but I believe this is a better system as you know the bandwidth isn’t being diluted with other devices on the system. In most cases it doesn’t require external power but does come with a usb connection.

Excellant bit of kit. Splits the signal with no losses. Powers from USB socket. Only had it for a short time, so cannot comment on longevity, but I have no reason to think it will not last.
