RSHTECH 11 in 1 usb c hub ðð»
Another excellent product from RSHTECH, I have been using the RSHTECH powered usb hub prior to this purchase and it has been faultless.Upon opening the box your faced with a quality product made to last and a premium feel.I purchased this to for my various hobbies DJing and gaming etc I’m using it mainly for the dual monitor set up.It has also allowed me to use sd cards and micro sd cards as my current laptop doesnât have this feature so great for uploading my mtb vids.I canât comment on reliability but Iâve had other products over 2 years with no issues so ðð»

Top quality product again!!
This product is absolutely top notch quality, checked the speeds out on my VR laptop and Pc and all seems to be as expected. Another brilliant product by RSH TECH. This is the 3rd product I have bought now and itâs top class. Highly recommend.

All the ports I needed in one solid hub
I bought this docking station to simplify my desk setup at home, and Iâm genuinely impressed. I use a MacBook for work and was constantly juggling dongles and cables, this hub completely fixed that.Iâm now running two external monitors (both HDMI) with zero issues, and the video quality is sharp and stable. The 10Gbps USB ports are super fastâI regularly transfer large video files and itâs noticeably quicker than my old hub. I also appreciate the SD and microSD card slots since I use a camera for content creation. The build feels really solid and premium, not like some of the cheap plastic hubs Iâve tried before. It also powers my laptop via the 100W PD port without any overheating or connection drops. And the gigabit Ethernet port? Absolute lifesaver for stable video calls when Wi-Fi gets sketchy.Honestly, it just works. Cleaned up my cable mess, made my workspace more efficient, and saved me from buying multiple separate adapters. Highly recommend if you need a proper all-in-one USB-C hub that doesnât compromise on speed or quality.

Sleek and practical
This docking station comes neatly boxed and offers 11 different ports to dock your laptop against and extend its presence on a more permanent desk. Whilst the device is plug and play and works universally with most operating systems – the first thing that I noted as a slight pain point is the USB-C connectivity cable length is very short. This means the main dock has to sit on your desk with all the wires rather than being able to be a bit more hidden behind or underneath. The device fortunately offers port replication on the power so you only need 1 USB-C slot on your machine and also offers a further 2 USB-C ports if required. There’s an ethernet slot if you wish to make your device hard wired to the Internet which is especially handy as most laptops don’t give this option anymore. Beyond that is two HDMI slots which is definitely useful for extending your screen setup to a further two devices. That said it is perhaps slightly strange that 1 is 4K rated and the other 8K rated for resolution given most users will have two identical monitors to extend their setup with – although if you’re not gaming you’re unlikely to notice much difference here! It further adds SD Card slots and multiple USB-A slots to add to the practicality. On this basis, I can certainly recommend the product but it is slightly on the pricy side for me given the limitations highlighted

Works for display
I ordered this for my MacBook so that I only have to plug one cable in rather than several. Works well it’s plug and play so no setup required, seems relatively cheap for the offering.

Good socket options
A solidly built hub with lots of connection options, even ethernet and two HDMI sockets. The sockets have good specifications being fast enough for most tasks, with 5 and 10 Gbps USB options. To me one of the most important sockets on hubs like this is the power in USB-C PD socket as it means that if attaching power hungry devices or using it on a device with only the one USB-C socket you have enough power/can charge your device whilst external hard drives etc. are connected. In tests the hub performed faultlessly

Great docking station for macbook pro
Comes in a nice neat box with foam inserts. The docking station is made from metal. It looks and feels like great quality. Has a ton of ports on it – 2 HDMI, multiple USB-A and USB-C ports, ethernet, SD and MicroSD card slot. All of the ports I need for my day to day work and more. Ideal for using my Macbook pro at my desk. Works perfectly.

Disclaimer: I received this product free of charge for review. RSHTech has no bearing on what I say and I am free to review the product as positively or negatively as I wish.First Impressions: The hub arrived well packaged in a cardboard box â slightly dented, but only through the fault of my UPS driver. In the box was an instruction manual, a warranty card, and my object of interest: the hub itself. The cord was somewhat curled inside the packaging, which did leave it creased, but I imagine that will wear off as I use it. Setup was easy â I plugged it into the thunderbolt 4 port on my laptop running Manjaro Linux and I was instantly able to attach my peripherals. Overall, a great day one experience. I donât think anyone will have any trouble getting this hub working.Quality/Ergonomics: The hub feels very solid, with a casing that I must assume is metal as well as plastic caps on each end. Itâs lighter than I anticipated, but that is probably a good thing for a product like this â plus, it was weighted down quickly when I started plugging things in. The cord is robust and braided, coming in at about 10 inches long â more than enough for a hub like this. I will say that this robustness comes at the cost of flexibility: itâs very difficult to bend the cord sharply, so make sure your space for the hub is relatively straight behind your port. In terms of ergonomics, I appreciate the placement of each port on the hub. Iâm able to position it so that the USB ports are facing away from my desk, and the SD card slots are facing me for easy access. I greatly appreciate the labels for each port â on the top of the hub, the speeds and types of each port are clearly noted, so you never try to plug a cable into the wrong place. Be aware that the actual body of the hub is slightly rounded â I would have appreciated something a little flatter for a hub this large, considering it wonât be moving much. I like to keep things stationary on my desk so I often use a little blue-tack to hold electronics in place. Itâs difficult to do that on a curved surface. Other than that, the hub is very well-designed.Functionality â USB 3.0/3.2 Ports: The hub has two USB 3.0 ports that are rated to 5 gb/s, and one USB 3.2 port rated to 10 gb/s. I wasnât able to test the exact speeds of these ports â Iâd be surprised if they actually came out to 10 gb/s â but they definitely worked well and I wasnât disappointed with any transfers. I wonât belabor the number of ports, since if youâre this far into a review Iâll assume youâre interested in the product (lol!), but I will say that for my purposes one more USB 3.2 port would be nice. Technology is well on the way to converting to USB-C, but weâre not there yet, and a significant amount of my hardware still uses this standard. By the same token, it would also be nice if one of the USB 3.0 was converted to 3.2, just so I have the option for multiple maximum speed transfers. Other than that, however, these ports worked perfectly, even for peripherals that require low latency like my webcam. It was as if Iâd plugged the cables directly into my laptop.Functionality â USB-C Ports: The hub contains two USB-C ports also rated to 10 gb/s. These worked perfectly, and I was blown away by the transfer speeds. I was able to copy gigabytes of video two and from my external SSD fast enough that I couldnât read the speed rating on my laptop, haha! They feel strong and secure â any wobble I get is due to poor design of the cable Iâm using, not through any fault of the hub. I appreciate the inclusion of two of these ports, and I personally donât have a desire for any more.Functionality â HDMI: I only have one monitor, so as such I was only able to test one of these ports at a time. However, I did test both ports and they work great with my HD monitor. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was able to utilize the monitorâs 75hz refresh rate â past hubs Iâve owned have only allowed for 60hz. I get slightly increased latency compared to plugging the HDMI cable directly into the laptop when booting up, but thatâs most likely just because using my thunderbolt port means that the monitor is running on the CPU rather than the GPU, which generally slows things down. Again, the ports are secure and sturdy. One comment on the ergonomics of these: it may be nicer if they were a little further apart. I donât have two HDMI cables to test, but the edges of the one I do use gets worrisomely close to the second port if you have large cables, this could be an issue. Thatâs a very minor gripe, however â overall, this function is great.Functionality â SD Card: The SD card slot was one area where this hub is lacking. I tested the speed using a Sandisk extreme card rated to 150 mb/s, and was unfortunately only able to get transfers at about 85 mb/s. If I plugged my dedicated SD card reader into one of the USB-C ports on the hub, that speed became ~145 mb/s. As such, if you do a lot of SD card transfers, I would recommend you find an alternative adapter to use with this hub. That 50% speed decrease adds up. If you have plenty of time or are using slower cards, however, the SD port is great. It has a very smooth feel and it is satisfying to insert the card. The card slides in about halfway and stops, which makes it easy to remove but still sturdy enough that it will stay in there. Overall, a solid SD slot with disappointing speeds.I was not able to test the ethernet or display port connections on this hub, as I donât use either. That said, they both look as robust and solid as the rest of the ports, and I have no doubt that they would perform satisfactorily. On the Power Delivery port â I currently donât have access to a 100W cable, so I wasnât able to test it to its full extent. However, I did run into some issues when I stress-tested it with a 15W adapter. Some of my peripherals ceased to function, and the display adapter started cutting in and out. Now, I would not call this an issue with the hub, as it is intended to be used with much higher power, but if you are planning on using the power-delivery function with a low-power cable, I do want to mention that this might not be possibleOverall, I give this USB adapter hub five stars. It is perfect for my use case and replaces a much more limited hub from Acodot that I previously used. That hub had only one HDMI port, limited to 60hz and no USB-C ports. In addition, the SD slot was limited to only 20 mb/s. Itâs nice to bring my setup into the future with data transfer speeds that can keep up with me! In the future, I plan on investing in a higher-powered cable to take advantage of the power-delivery function of this hub (rated to 85 W). To give some insight into my setup, I use an Acer Nitro 5 laptop running Manjaro Linux (a fork of Arch). It contains a full-function thunderbolt four port, which I make use of for this hub. As mentioned, connected to the laptop I have a 32 inch HD monitor that serves as my main display when Iâm at my desk. My setup relies heavily on the powerful utility of hubs like this one â I often leave my desk and take my laptop to classes as a college student, so I need to be able to reconnect my peripherals rapidly. If I had to plug in all 8 of the connections on this hub that I use directly to my laptop each time, it would be very tedious indeed! Thus, I believe the primary utility of this device is in creating setups that can efficiently convert between stationary and mobile. That said, this hub is also very portable. If you had a laptop with limited ports and needed something to extend functionality on the fly, the light weight and small size of this device would come in very handy, and I would still recommend it highly. The only places I would not recommend this device is if you plan on relying heavily on the built-in SD card port for transfers, or if you need a significant amount of USB-A ports. Other than that, this is a solid reliable hub for the money, and you would be well suited for it. Five stars!

The first hub that properly supplies sufficient power to multiple connected devices and has high speed/throughput. Expensive but worth it. I only noticed one “bug” so far: When you press multiple buttons at the same time, it gets confused as to which button is pressed. Seems to be a typical hardware matrix thing. If you press button at position 2 and 4 lets say, the signals will “add up” and the 6th button will turn off, instead of 4 and 2. But this rarely affects me at all, and the quality of the device is so good, I will still give it 5 stars.

Initial Impressions:The device arrived adequately packaged, and the box is sufficient to protect it, yet is not overly designed, thus making it no more expensive than it needs to be and not too environmentally harmful. The box included the unit and two pieces of documentation, a warranty card and an instructional card that shows a drawing of the unit and where each port is. The instructions are presented in various languages, are quite simple and not extremely informative, but do provide links to additional help and information. The device itself feels well built and has a nice weight to it. It has a USB-C connection cable with a woven sheath that feels very robust and reliable. The matte silver body will blend into any environment and is slightly curved on the large faces so that it will rest nicely on any surface. It does have a slight texture to hide fingerprints, and it looks great.Connection:Installation is extremely easy, simply plug it into the fastest USB-C port on your computer or into a USB port with an optional USB to USB-C converter of your choice. While the 12-inch connector is adequate for laptop users, it is too short for desktop accessibility. Youâll need an extension cable if you want to plug it into the front, top or back of an under-the-desk computer, if you want the hub to sit on the desk for easy access. I think this is mostly intended for laptop users, so not having a really long cord is probably a good thing, though.Plugging it into a port using only the 12inch cable, the unit became slightly warm without any devices plugged into it. That warmth indicates that it is consuming some amount of power continuously, even when not being used. With an optional power input plugged in (not included with the unit, youâll need to supply your own if you plan to power a lot of devices) the temperature remained about the same, roughly 14° above the ambient temperature of the room.Usage:All of the USB ports worked well. They were fast and reliable. I had no glitches or data corruption, even with all of them, with a device plugged in.The SD/TF ports performed as expected as well. The slots donât have a click or discernible detent, so that you know you are inserted all the way. The card just slips in and stops. Once you get used to it, itâs fine and not really an issue. I just have several other hubs that provide a bit of feedback when you insert a card. Again, not an issue. Both slots worked great and seemed as fast as any of my other hubs. The monitor ports worked as advertised, too. I tried several different monitors, and they all saw the signal quickly and worked great. I have a desktop computer with a graphics card that has 4 monitor ports, so I donât need this for my main machine. But if you have a laptop and want to run extra monitors, this is a really nice feature to have.Whatâs nice is that all of these are contained in a single device. My laptop case gets full of all kinds of extra stuff, and just carrying this one device, I can pretty much take care of all of my input and output tasks. In closing, I would recommend this device. It works as well as described, and the price seems fair considering all of its functions.
