A handy gadget if you have micro and full size sd cards, but no built in reader

Fast, Cool Looking
This thing as really cheap when I bought it, hopefully is when you are considering it. It looks the part and is made by Sabrent which are quite a known brand for data.Aesthetically it is pleasing it has a sharp geometric design on it making it feel quite nice as part of a high tech theming. It is about the size of a standard USB disk. The device is light by itself and a couple of SD cards won’t really change that. It will mostly conceal a micro SD when inserted, although a standard SD will stick out quite a bit.This device does everything it needs to. It has good transfer all my cards read and wrote at their advertised speeds through this device when attached to a USB3 port. It handles both slots being seen when filled. It has a busy light but is subtle so you can check on it but it is not going to distract or detract you while you do other tasks on the computer.

Good memory card, flawed packaging
I bought one of these cards for my FiiO hi-res audio player and it works perfectly. It’s a very large micro SD card at a very good price point. I decide a few months later to purchase another for my other, more portable “daily driver” high-res player, and upon opening it the memory card itself was missing. The card is packaged in a plastic clamshell kind of case inside a cardboard box. Unfortunately there was no shrink wrap or tamper-proof sticker on the packaging, so somebody must have lifted the card itself between picking and packing my order without anybody knowing. Fortunately I was able to get a refund and I ended up purchasing another (albeit more expensive) card which I know has a visible product window in the packaging.It’s definitely a good, cost-efficient card but only when you can get them reliably.

Quick easy way to transfer data
The second of these that I have bought for transferring files from my DSLR.Card easily inserted into the slot and when connected to my laptop transfer for me fine and quick. So really all good, does what it is supposed to do.Only downside (and why I had to buy another) is that it is weak when/where it is connected to the laptop. You need to be careful not to put too much stress on it or it will break. Really this is more user error and not the stick. Just a matter of working with the laptop on a flat surface and not on my knee!
