Beware of ARC synchronisation
Solid-feeling, well-constructed soundbar and subwoofer. Simple HDMI connection to my Panasonic TV’s ARC port; Bluetooth connection between bar and woofer was virtually immediate.Sound quality was generally good, although studio speech occasionally sounded a little ‘thin’ despite bass being a little oppressive from other sources. Impressively, some background noise was detectable on Crucible snooker commentary.Despite the product description, however, there was no suggestion of vertical separation from any sound source.The total deal-breaker for me was lip-synch – or, rather, lack of it. This was often resolved by stopping and restarting the source but, despite much time spent on adjustments, I found it impossible to set my Fire Stick input to give acceptable lip-synch from both speakers and headphones (connected to TV for after-hours use) without delving into Prime’s audio setup at each change of output method. I have reverted to my elderly Yamaha YSP-2700 which has multiple HDMI inputs for faultless lip-synch and little loss of clarity and responsiveness.

Klanglich ist die q800d super. Sowohl bei Musik wie auch bei Filmen.Die Ersteinrichtung war einfach aber das Integrieren im Smart Things auf dem Telefon noch nicht geklappt.Sehr zufrieden sonst!
