Sandy Beach Smart Thermostatic Valves
Designed to easily replace existing TRVs by swapping out the TRV heads and connecting to the Sandy Beach Smart Zigbee gateway. The standard head connection is M30x1.5mm and also comes with a number of adapters to ensure the Sandy Beach Smart TRV can be connected to any type of radiator.
Connect with several Apps (e.g. Tuya, Smart Life) via the Zigbee Gateway, which can be configured to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for a complete smart home experience.

Why are my valves not opening and closing correctly?
Update the valve firmware by: Going in to the Smart Life App, select the ‘Me’ tab along the bottom, select the settings icon in the top right hand corner, select the ‘Device Update’ tab and proceed to update the valve firmware to the latest version.
Why are my valve actuator settings switching between 15 and 20 degrees intermittently throughout the day?
They are in automatic mode. For more control, please switch to manual mode (see user guide)
Why will my smart valve actuators not connect to the network?
Zigbee is a mesh network where only mains powered devices will retransmit messages not destined for them. Ensure you have a nearby mesh device and perform the initial pairing closer to one of these.
Which Apps can I connect to with the Gateway?
The supplied gateway works with the ‘Smart Life’, & ‘Tuya APP’ along with the ‘Smart RM’(our own proprietary app). Free open-source software such as HomeAssistant, zigbee2mqtt and others also offer interaction methods with the smart valves.
Why are my valve actuators reporting an E1 motor fault?
Remove the batteries for ten minutes and replace them (ensuring they are alkaline batteries, not rechargeable).

Work well could have better wiring diagram
Note there is one TRV not two as the picture suggests.If you have a switches live system on the boiler you may need to loop from the live to the common.Otherwise all good

I have experience in electrical and plumbing work so this was quite simple for me to install to my room. The installation guide is okay and comes included with everything you need to install it. The display looks nice and modern and works as intended. Overall it is a nice little gadget to have and it does its what its intended to do.

I have opened and looked at this TRV and read the installation instructions.Looks to be made of quality materials and instructions are easy to follow. I would recommend getting a professional service engineer in to install it if you have no electrical or plumbing experience.I will endeavour to update this review once installed and working.
