Excellent Piece of Equipment
This is a fairly easy to use piece of equipment. I know of Fujitsu ScanSnap pedigree because they’ve been used in my work environment and are fast and effective. The software is very intelligently implemented, which enables a non-stressed approach to scanning documents and ensuring that they’re aligned, no matter the length and width. That said, the software may be a little complex for some folk – there is a learning curve – but the physical hardware scan button or manual feeder can be used at any time to get acceptable, no-fuss results. It is very small and compact so a great space-saving solution. Unassuming when you take a look at it, it’s a bit like Optimus Prime rolling up as a beaten-up old semi, then transforming into an Autobot right in front of your eyes. Worthy addition to the home office – value for money.

I have used a ScanSnap for years -this is ScanSnap on steroids!
This is a fantastic evolutionary progress in this remarkable series of Scanners.It has revolutionised my workflow to the point where I look around for more ‘awkward’ scanning projects.A folded thick A3 card formed a double-sided survey document, presenting as two hinged A4 sheets. Placed in the front feed slot, it scanned both sides [front and back]. On frontal ejection, it was refolded and put in the slot to scan the inside pages. A rapid perfect result for something that would otherwise have to be scanned on a flatbed machine.Wanting to digitise an instruction manual, I removed the bound edge to provide a set of similar-sized sheets. The maximum capacity of the sheet feeder is said to be twenty. I found flimsy sheets could be stacked to fill the guides. In some cases, thirty sheets could be fed without any issues.Popping a till roll receipt into the sheet feeder without setting the guides or the front feeder [more suited to accept A4] emerged badly skewed, but the scanned image was perfectly aligned.All alignments on the iX1300 are magical. This is the go-to scanner to achieve a rapid, perfect finish.

Seems OK once got used to setting it up except very “plasticy”. Note that to enable to scan all that is listed, ie small sizes, photos, thick items, you need to purchase carrier sheets.

Compact and Quick
Fed up of all-in-one printers failing or chewing up paper when fed through the scanner feed, I opted to spend more on a dedicated item – very glad I did.Scans right quick; nothing as yet jammed; quality of scan is excellent; plenty of save and edit options; compact and neat. Very happy.

No TWAIN drivers – only usable with its own proprietary software
The website description does not make it clear that this scanner ONLY works with its own proprietary software.It does not support TWAIN (which most scanners do) and therefore cannot be used to scan to things like Acrobat or other image programs directly – you have to go through the supplied software.This wastes a lot of time.Otherwise, the scanner looks good, is very small and if not for the absence of TWAIN would be a perfect home or mobile scanner!

Premetto che lo uso per lavoro, scannerizzo fogli a4, a5,documenti d’identità , scontrini ecc ecc, ho utilizzato altri scanner veloci simili del tipo compatti di altri marchi e scanner un po’ più voluminosi sempre veloci e posso dire che sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso perché non mi aspettavo che sarebbe diventato nel complesso il migliore che abbia mai usato fino ad ora, zero inceppamenti anche nel caso di scontrini (con gli altri succede sempre specialmente con quelli compatti), ottima velocità di scannerizzazione, ha due modalità quella con il coperchio chiuso per scannerizzare velocemente un singolo documento oppure una serie ma caricandoli uno per uno manualmente dalla bocchetta frontale (il foglio entra ed esce dalla stessa bocchetta, appunto quella frontale) e la modalità con coperchio aperta per caricare più fogli tutti insieme, della quale ho caricato il video per mostrare il funzionamento, infatti fra le caratteristiche che lo rendono molto migliore degli altri c’é il fatto che i fogli già scannerizzati escono sempre da sopra rendendolo compatto anche nell’utilizzo dato che ti permette di scannerizzare anche con il piano sul quale è poggiato occupato da oggetti o documenti, ottimo anche il software che non solo elimina le pagine bianche/vuote ma raddrizza anche le pagine storte (cosa che può capitare caricando documenti di formati diversi ad esempio scontrini e ricevute), riconosce la scrittura e quindi ruota i documenti nel verso giusto automaticamente e addirittura assegna il nome al file prendendo la prima frase del documento, che dire? posso solo consigliarlo.

Ik heb al jaren lang scanners in gebruik. Deze vergt enige aanpassing bij degene van de vorige serie, (ook al omdat er veel meer mogelijkheden zijn) maar als je eenmaal gewend bent wil je hem niet meer missen. Scant keurig een stapel documenten en kan vastleggen in verschillende formaten. Software is goed in te stellen, maar je moet het wel even goed doorlezen. Prima opvolger van de Fuji’s die ook al geweldig waren. Ook het formaat is redelijk handzaam, ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat deze minstens zo goed is als zijn voorgangers maar gezien de software nog beter. Scant goed en snel een hele stapel. Ik heb overigens net een 2e besteld.

Hi, nun habe ich das Gerät seit einem Jahr im Einsatz und ich bin begeistert. Es scannt schnell und präzise. Jeder in der Familie scannt damit, egal ob IPAD, iPhone, Android Handy’s, PC oder sonst etwas. Wir scannen hauptsächlich Dokumente die dann zentral abgelegt werden. Mit JPG’s etc. habe ich keine Erfahrung gemacht dafür wurde er auch nicht gekauft. Die dazugehörige App Scansnap ist leicht zu bedienen läuft auf allen Geräten bisher einwandfrei und benötigt auch nicht viel Ressourcen. Ich bin eigentlich kein Fan von Smart Mobil sondern eher der PC Typ, aber Dokumente die ich schnell versenden möchte via Messenger oder e-Mail sind sehr schnell erledigt. Das Gerät steht bei uns zentral im Gang auf einem Schrank, da es nicht viel Platz einnimmt und zusammengeklappt in sw auch ganz gut aussieht.. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung auch wenn der Scanner eher teuer ist. Dafür scannt er auch Duplex ohne das man dafür das Blatt erneut einlegen muss, was bei meinem Multi Drucker von HP schon der Fall ist.

La verdad que llevo muy poco tiempo usándolo, y sólo para documentos, pero la verdad es que es sencillo de instalar y usar. Una “máquina” escaneando todo tipo de documentos, tanto desde el alimentador automático, como desde el frontal para escanear una sólo factura o una tarjeta de visita. Ocupa muy poco espacio.La parte de la configuración de la Wifi es mejorable, ya que no entiendo porqué requiere que conectes el cable USB para hacerlo, pero quitado este detalle, es sencillo.Como “pero”, la bandeja de salida, que se despliega sola cuando utilizas el alimentador automático con varios documentos, deberÃa contar con algún tipo de guÃa, para que cuando escaneas documentos que hayan estado doblados, no se caigan de la bandeja.

Scanner impressionnant. J’avais l’habitude d’utiliser mon imprimante HP 2600 qui prenait une éternité. Ce scanner est facile à installer et encore plus facile d’utilisation. Rapide et efficace même pour les documents étant difficilement lisibles.
